It's my 59th birthday next week and it occurs to me that many of my well-meaning friends and others who somehow managed to befriend me in Facebook, will wish me a happy birthday there.
I haven't been on Facebook for over a year now.
They're still looking at each other's dinner and booze, posting philosophies they don't live by and declaring very, very loudly that "If I can't handle them at their worst, I don't deserve them at their best" etc.
Some of you may remember the Chappaquiddick incident where a drunk Teddy Kennedy drove his car off a bridge after leaving a party, and left girlfriend Mary Jo Kopechnie to drown and faced zero consequences.
