So, apparently, yesterday was "Crow and Raven Appreciation Day."
Isn't it a waste of a special day? I mean, isn't it "Crow and Raven Appreciation Day" every day of the year?
This awkward moment when you want to take a nap, but you have a class in 15 minutes. Why do they schedule classes during nap-time, I'm asking you? This is so inconsiderate.
I just finished my rewatch of Andor.
I'm still pinching myself that such a show was every produced and made it to our living rooms and to our minds and hearts.
I always have the strange feeling that it will never happen again.
If anyone is still using Chrome, today is a great day to delete it from all of your machines:
I just stumbled a post of a guy saying "so we humans have to adapt." about AI and.... I never wanted to burn a data center more than right now...
I always liked Rogue One, but never loved it. Not sure why. Maybe the fact that the characters are not developed enough for the most part.
However, I just rewatched it for the first time just after rewatching Andor, and it does hit different. In parts because of Cassian Andor himself (who's now more than "fleshed out") but also because of characters like Saw Guerrera or General Draven, etc. And over all, the show is so good that it makes the movie better.
Motoi Yamamoto's art is made with salt. It's a painstaking process, and always an ephemeral one, but... it's not to be missed if you ever have the opportunity.

Alright, I'm deleting Ubuntu and installing Mint. I hope it will drive less nuts.
A/C season just started....
This is fine.
Alright, I reinstalled my PC (with Mint this time). I haven't tested everything, but so far the good news is that Beeper is working with Mint (it didn't with Ubuntu) but I can't figure out how to type in Japanese. I downloaded a bunch of things (fctix?) it tells me that it's working (i.e. I can switch the input method) except that... nope... it's Roman alphabet and only Roman alphabet.
Okay, I'm tired, I'm going to bed.

Je vous ai préparé un peu de lecture en ce dimanche pluvieux.
