One of these people has 50 accounts — 50 accounts! They can hit that report button like a synchronized weapon, overwhelming a moderation queue in seconds, and instead of looking at the data or verifying the truth, you just fold. You let a single bad-faith actor with a bot farm dictate who gets silenced. That isn’t moderation; that’s administrative surrender to whoever shouts the loudest.

I'm going to resent the Fediverse out of the sheer number of cowards who allow injustice due to peer pressure.

So, I've got all these administrators who privately said they agree with my evidence, but they don't want to deal with the drama. It's too politically charged, and while I'm right, and they agree with the evidence, they'd rather turn a blind eye than deal with the associated backlash.

I support the people of Israel, Palestine, and Gaza. Why? Because they're people! And people have the right to exist and to live a life filled with peace, love, and happiness. Yet, with that harmless statement across much of the North American and European Fediverse, I've just upset people — simply because I value human life and see everyone as equal. Because I refuse to hate anyone and instead support the people of Israel, Palestine, and Gaza equally. Somehow it's not politically correct.

It is completely insane. Wanting peace and safety for all human beings shouldn't be a controversial take, let alone something that upsets people. It says a lot about the current state of online discourse that basic empathy has somehow become politically incorrect. Insane is the exact right word. We’ve reached a point where tribalism has completely overshadowed basic human decency, to the the point where valuing all human life equally makes people angry.

It is that same insane tribalism that enforces and empowers a scam group, who mistakenly outed themselves, and people still do not want to accept it, even with video proof mistakenly supplied by the scammers themselves. I support all the people of Israel, Palestine, and Gaza. I believe everyone has the right to exist and live life in peace. Being anti-scammer does not equal being unsupportive of the people of Israel, Palestine, or Gaza. And being supportive of all 3 does not mean rejecting 1.

Gaza Verified is a scam group. The person performing the so-called "verification" is a scammer to begin with. Joy, for example, posted a video of herself walking through rubble, claiming she was in Gaza. However, she clearly wasn't paying attention to what was in the background, because it included a building-sized poster of the Supreme Leader of Iran. When she deleted the video, anyone who tried to re-share it received a DMCA notice. The whole thing is a scam! It always has been. 1 of 2

This is the second time someone has asked me this. It's still the same answer:

I am not a sports fan. I don't watch or listen to any sport playing on TV, streaming, radio, etc.

That said, I think it would be better if we stop having men's-only and women's-only teams. We don't have men-only and women-only sports, since anyone can play them, so why should we have men-only and women-only teams? Personally, I don't see the point.

I've seen instances where the moderator team, for example, was listed on the about page, but all those people had left. Other instances where the URLs shared pointed to 404 errors (bad URL), and other instances where even the rules no longer matched their sign up page.

Then when Trump starts to run for President again, they finally go after him and drag their feet. Even the sentencing was delayed. Everything was just for show. He faced no consequences and was allowed to be elected.

@stux@mstdn.social Wow. They have 20 accounts (I did a search). 🤯 I feel bad because I have 5 accounts to work around Fediverse fragmentation. For example, admin1 may dislike admin2, but I still want to follow user1 and user2, who have nothing to do with their drama. That’s the challenge of the Fediverse. But someone with 20 accounts isn’t trying to solve fragmentation — they have an agenda. That’s either a coordinated group or a very dedicated one-person operation.

The current cycle is predictable and toxic: conservatives break the system, and moderates ask us to 'compromise' by accepting the damage as the new baseline. True compromise requires a move toward progress, not just a slower crawl toward the right. I refuse to fall in line with a system that demands my silence while it protects the very people who should be held accountable.

She clearly forgot what was around her, because way in the background was one of those building-sized posters of the Supreme Leader of Iran (Iranian flag included). The video kept being taken down due to DMCA, but the photos between Mastodon and Facebook have been repeatedly shared. Same post, same GoFundMe URL, but new name.

You ever notice, they don't ignore me, nor do they defend themselves. It is always character assassination and a demand for oppression. Why? Well, they cannot prove themselves. You only have their word. And they cannot afford to be blocked; it would cut into their profits. A normal person would accept that there was some skepticism and criticism. A business, or in this case, a scam group always plays public relations and damage control.
