Life is so hard when I look around and realize how much you I lost because of the genocide. Relatives, our home, and years of our lives spent in fear, hunger, and displacement… How many years will it take us to get over all of this? Please stand with my family https://chuffed.org/project/121561-urgent-help-for-ahmads-family

Every night in Gaza, before sleeping, I remember the people I’ve lost, hold on to memories that won’t return, and cry for the home my heart left behind.

I’m not okay.

We want our old life again, but the truth is, it’s gone.

The suffering will never end.

Are you still thinking of us?

Every day, I tell myself to stay strong. Not for me, but for my family. I smile so my mother won’t see the fear and sadness in my eyes. I hold back my tears so my siblings can feel safe even for a moment. I try to give my family hope that tomorrow is better. Surviving is not enough in Gaza. We try to carry each other through the darkness. Please don't leave us alone https://chuffed.org/project/121561-urgent-help-for-ahmads-family

How did we survive all this time in Gaza? Today I realised that almost three years of our lives are gone. We have lived through death, hunger, and fear. We slept on the streets. We suffered through cold winters and hot summers. We lost people we love. We have no home and no future to look forward to. I don’t know how much longer we can keep going.

Good morning, my home.

We miss you. Do you miss us?

Ramadan came without you.

Since you were destroyed, we have not felt happiness.

We suffer every day and feel like strangers.

Everything beautiful was taken from us.

Now we have no home, and no memories.
