I bought washing soda bc I’d heard good things about its eco friendly cleaning power, from a pro cleaner & I’m so impressed. You can use a tiny amount of dish soap or laundry detergent & use washing soda to boost it. My kitchen towels which get the dirtiest are spotless. My bathroom towels are fluffier & brighter. I sprayed a mix with mostly water & a tiny amount of the washing soda & my mirrors are streak free. Great with toilet too. It’s just amazing stuff. Super cheap. Get some! #tip

It’s not lost on me that an occupation is an actual occupation of our time by capitalism. By the denial of common and abundant resources through theft, violence, colonization, subjugation, to use for themselves. To give us busy work, occupy our time. Our waking hours. Our life. All to center them, work for them to rise, and not rise yourselves. Instead of serving community,the planet, we serve a handful of overlords to our destruction.

Now, though there are tools are infinitely better, websites are dull, filled with ads, poorly edited because of infinite scrolling, have little that isn’t some version of something you’ve already seen a million times. It’s boilerplate banality now. It occupies people’s time instead of engaging it.

I am pretty sure I had a boss who did that behind his desk while I was in his office on the other side. I couldn’t be sure and I couldn’t say anything. But if I was in those kinds of positions today, I would ask for accommodations and that they keep their hands above the cape, desk, etc. Men make living as a woman so hard. This is a good idea. It’s something. I’d love to see more repair cafes, stitch & bitch gatherings, too though. I think that builds more community and you learn to repair in novel and creative ways.
But all efforts to prevent waste is great.

My guess is Lich McConnard is in a coma.

They don’t have to announce his death, & can’t say how long this will last, when he’ll be back, etc. so they are saying nothing that gives any insight or information to his constituents.
I think they’ll just use him like this, keep him on life support as long as possible. A corpse with power.

They cannot discern between humanity & a bot —it’s all the same to them because they already dehumanized women & other marginalized for their profit. PTSD from one event generally takes a massive trauma & in my own experience includes a lack of compassion & support in community. It’s from repeated trauma you cannot escape from including systemic abuse, stigmatization, and isolation just for experiencing trauma and seeking support. I’m not saying peoples trauma isn’t real. I’m saying people go through a shit ton of it before they get ptsd, let alone cptsd.

We will do this in much worse conditions, with less food and water to go around, more illness, more death. We are facing a runaway problem. We must collectively, globally, stand together to protect the earth, or everything will die and we CAN fight it now. We might not be able to later. It will be a very difficult task to fix later.

Like the Tankies calling for violence and revolution from YOU, but not going out themselves to do it. They want YOUR hands dirty. They want you to take the risk. What they don’t want is the slow grind of building community, organizing (so hard), etc. or have to do something. They want instant gratification, AND perfection, and they want someone else to provide it as they stay comfortable being armchair critics of those doing the actual work IRL. The critic who cannot see a better solution is a worthless critic. They have literally nothing better to compare to, yet feel qualified to judge it as insufficient, incorrect. The ones who say “that’s not the way”, while not knowing the way or offering a path. Fuck them for getting in your way. Same with the cynic. They hate that real action makes them look bad. It’s what status quo corporate Dems feel & do with Mamdani. They are a facade of caring & do nothing to resist the tyranny.

The feeling always reminded me of HG2TG - The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, where people go to watch and be entertained by the end of everything. Some of my paintings give me that feeling. People just carrying on as the world burns around them. As if eons of life struggling to evolve, be, then be destroyed on our watch, by our hands, is meaningless. My own experience, I think ptsd is specific in that it’s like burnout. I think autistic burnout is ptsd. “Nervous breakdown” is ptsd. You start to shut down. Your nervous system rebels from so much trauma. I think some develop cancers, autoimmune diseases when they bury stuff to push through. PTSD can be carried & present in a variety of ways, but imo…
