There are clearly many reasons why people are switching to Vivaldi. Interestingly, my little survey shows that the top reasons have more to do with our values than particular features. The #1 reason (77%) is the fact that we do not have built in AI. #2 is that we do not build profiles on our users (67%). #3 is that we are made in Europe. #4 and #5 is that we do not build in Crypto currencies and the built in ad and tracker blocker. We will continue to listen to our users. We have chosen a different path to our competitors and we continue to try to do the right thing. Ogólnie jestem zadowolony z #Vivaldi, bo nie usiłuje udawać czegoś czym nie jest. Ma dwie podstawowe wady, a mianowicie niewyłączalny tłumacz, którego jakość tłumaczeń oceniam na 3, oraz to, że co jakiś czas mi się krzaczy na iMacu i nie mogę zmieniać zakładek kliknięciem myszy, bo wariują. (to drugie to być może jakaś niekompatybilność, no ale występuje tylko w tej przeglądarce). Trochę mnie ciągnie w stronę #Firefoxa, ale nie ma szans, bo się z Mozillą pogniewałem, więc padło na testowanie Lobrewolf i Waterfox. Pierwszy odpada, bo jest zbyt restrykcyjny i nie działają mi usługi, których potrzebuję na co dzień, a w drugim niestety nie chcą mi działać usługi od G, których muszę używać do pracy :( Trochę szkoda, bo myślałem, że znów zrobię sobie dwa profile, domowy i pracowy, a wychodzi na to, że muszę zostać przy vivaldi, albo uruchomić dodatkowo #Chromium wyłącznie do pracy, choć to też będzie dość uciążliwe, bo klikanie na linki w innych narzędziach otwiera w domyślnej przeglądarce. Macie jeszcze jakieś pomysły (Brave odpada)? Edit: Na korzyść Waterfoxa jest jeszcze ilość różnych wbudowanych ustawień. #drogiblipie

Utilisateur de #Firefox depuis que je possède un ordinateur, j'étais mécontent de leur complaisance face à l'IA, leur retour sur X était la cerise sur le gâteau. Pour cette raison, j'ai cherché à changer de navigateur. J'utilise #Vivaldi depuis quelques mois. Vivaldi est topissime, mais une base Chromium, et aucune volonté d'aller à contre-courant des décisions de Google, concernant Manifest V2 notamment. J'hésite encore, du coup et j'aimerais avoir votre avis.

Weird behaviour time. There's no spellcheck in my Vivaldi browser on my laptop, there is on the Vivaldi on desktop - and supposedly they're in sync. But I can't find any spellcheck on or off choice in the settings? Anyway, if you see odd spelling or typos on my posts in the afternoon or evening, that'll be why. #vivaldi
