Notepad++'s update servers have been compromised by Chinese hackers and all users had been exposed to malware. The developer estimated the overall compromise period spanned from June through December 2, 2025. Users should update to version 8.9.1 (or superior) immediately. It is now possible to test Office 365 on Linux via Soda 11.0-17 and Bottles! BUT, please read here before doing it: this was a long-run work, tested only on my laptop. It's a work that touches wine, DLLs, scripts, wrappers, Bottles and many many other stuff, so please be careful, It is far more likely that it won't work than the opposite. Cześć #fediverse 👊 Dzisiaj ostatecznie pożegnałem #windows z mojego starego, kulawego laptopa. Jakiś rok temu zainstalowałem jako drugi system, tak na próbę #linuxa #kubuntu. Okazało się, że ten mój staruszek, odzyskał wigor. Na tyle dobrze się sprawuje, że odkąd dokonałem tej próbnej instalacji ani razu nie wróciłem do systemu #microsoft. I tak oto zdecydowałem się dzisiaj ostatecznie wywalić to zbędne obciążenie tej leciwej jak by nie patrzeć konstrukcji. Paozdrawiam @czach@mastodon.argilus.online 👍

Has anyone else had a Windows 11 update pushed on them and suddenly had Chrome mistype everything? Letters are switching even while I type slowly, whether in the address bar or in a field on a site. There don't seem to be any Chrome updates available either. This is pretty much making work impossible. Please share so I might find a fix quickly. #Windows #A11Y #Chrome
