Does anyone know how to get in touch with the now-defunct PCS Games and BSC Games? I would like to pay them for products from several years ago.

I cannot stand when, in webinars, podcasts, etc, the Amazon Echo is refers to as "the A-Lady." Sure, people are nervous to use a wake word and trigger devices. But there must be a better solution!?!
This song is so, so good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxOybZcRXhI&t=64s

@chewie@mammut.gogreenit.net @anon_opin@mastodon.social I've always maintained that Office 2003 was/is the best version. I wish it still worked on modern machines.
I'd be interested to know if anyone on iOS has had this experience with Braille Screen Input:
as words are typed, VoiceOver's key echo announces the correct letters. However, only some (or none) of the material gets entered. For example, I wrote the word "soon" in a text. The word "not" was entered; the rest of the material was disregarded. Somehow the letter "n" was only written, even though, as I was Brailling, VoiceOver was announcing the characters. This has been going on for quite awhile.

@BorrisInABox@fwoof.space Even so, it's so fucking insane to me how they accomplish this at all. Wireless data like this...In general.

@jaybird110127@dragonscave.space @TheVoiceGuy@mastodon.au @Woody@dragonscave.space @AccessOn@nfb.social @JonathanMosen@caneandable.social What were some of the more popular programs? Typing in all that code must have been really tedious. Were there any tricks to make them as compact as possible?

@LWorksGames Visit StreamMadness.com! Sad times, that doesn't seem to be around anymore, LOL. What even was it, an archive of radio stations or something?

@BorrisInABox@fwoof.space So how does this shit work, it's completely wireless for everyone? Is this actually useful for...A home? How's the cost? Etc etc...
Just watched Project Hail Mary. Really good!

@FreakyFwoof It's sad, though, really, that this probably won't be a thing that much now. I mean, you can correct every little thing.
With all this "vibe coding" happening, I wonder if Justin/Daniel from BSC Games would be willing to get together to resurrect the old games. Or release the source so that others can do it, or something.

@jaybird110127@dragonscave.space @FreakyFwoof@universeodon.com @batworx@mastodon.africa What's the original like?
Replying to
@FreakyFwoof Elvis Presley's is probably the funniest. Everyone keeps on going, backup vocals and all, and he's laughing his ass off. All of these are really interesting though! Wow!

Does anyone have sleep apnea? What machines are people using?

@fireborn@dragonscave.space @munchkinbear@mastodon.stickbear.me @ky0les@fwoof.space I can't imagine this lasting particularly long.
John Sterling dead. How sad!!

@jaybird110127@dragonscave.space LOL reading this short BASIC program is giving me flashbacks to Blazie BASIC, one of the only BASIC variants I really used. Are there modern BASIC variants that people still use? And I'm not on about Visual BASIC or anything like that.

@alexhall @LWorksGames That's my fav game, and has been for years!!! I hope someday there'll be an iOS version.
Damn, this is not bad!

Replying to
@anon_opin@mastodon.social I think it'd be funny if that could somehow happen. Watch them struggle, like everyone else.
All this Apple II talk got me wondering if anyone ever somehow created an Echo II Plus NVDA add-on. Probably not possible, but eh. I have no idea.
Replying to
@LWorksGames @alexhall I'm hoping that people who essentially stole the games years ago will make it right and contribute. I sure did.
