Just watched Wolf Walkers. It's a good movie, even if they toned down how awful the real Oliver Cromwell was by only depicting him as an evil incompetent bloodthirsty misogynistic zealot.

I had heard Kubo and the Two Strings was good but I assumed that was just praise for the stop motion. But no, the writing on this is excellent. The comedy in particular is laugh a minute (when they want) without killing the pacing.
I get that it's more realistic for Nagatoro's rougher edges to round off as the relationship develops because nobody would put up with how she acted in the first few episodes forever. But holy smokes is it misunderstanding who this show would appeal to.
I don't even think she'd be a tsundere anymore if they got a season 3. Why call the show "Please don't bully me, Miss X" if she's gonna agree to those terms?
So, turns out, all of this progress these models have been making over the years doesn't come from more training data, better algorithms, or more powerful hardware. They've just got humans on the other end looking at common questions it gets wrong and tweaking responses to those specific questions.

Is there an effort to create a recommender algorithm for the Fediverse using TF-IDF weighted LSA or LDA exclusively trained on the public posts of people who opt-in?
Those are old school LLMs that have decent performance on narrow tasks from the before times. They can't be used for gen AI crap but can be labelers or to recommend similar content.
I imagine such a tool would be useful for creating feeds on the Fediverse to aid in discoverability.
