Is the a more boopable snoot in the entire world? I think not.
This is probably an unreasonable request, but is there a simple and privacy-friendly way to be notified when bands I listen to are in town?
Goddammit, FCC, you should know better. Don't you people ever communicate with CISA? Or NIST? I guess not.
I’m not normally a reggae guy, but this band asked Cousin Craig to produce their latest and the music is putting a smile on my face.
After years of hearing Snubs and others sing the praises of Syncthing, I finally took the plunge a couple months ago.
It's glorious. It's rock-solid and (albeit still for techies) has a polished interface. I no longer miss Unison.
Joe Bob sez check it out.

“The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice because we choose to bend it.”
Is it just me, or did humanity just take our first step toward creating a protomolecule?

@rysiek@mstdn.social I assume it's because they'd rather serve us adverts when we visit the websites.

@mattblaze@federate.social This is great news! I will share it with the teams who can’t manage to patch their systems.

@evan There’s no way he’ll choose to walk out of the building. Either he keels over or he is led out in handcuffs.

@adapalmer@wandering.shop @Christo_459@mastodon.me.uk Developments like this give me hope for humanity.

@evan It’s very profitable and he surely understands he could face legal jeopardy as soon as he’s not steering the ship.
#modular people, if you DIY and know others who do, this might be your jam.

@HopelessDemigod When Ed Snowden’s story blew up several years later, I always wondered why Klein’s hadn’t gotten more traction. It did get some, there were national news stories about it, but it wasn’t as big a deal as I felt it should have been.

@brian_greenberg@infosec.exchange I had a tiny role in porting Pivotal Cloud Foundry to run on Azure. When we started, Azure didn’t yet have a password reset feature. So, yes, Azure seemed like it had been rushed out the door.

@NanoRaptor@bitbang.social Is that the Extended Keyboard II? That was hands-down the best keyboard I ever owned.

@DelilahTech It’s a slippery slope. Reading about cryptography let to me reading about the history which led to reading about espionage history.

@TimWardCam@c.im @janeishly@beige.party Just so! One of the least prescient things I ever said was that I don’t need a faster modem because I only read at about 300 baud.

A great way to find what interests you is searching on related #hashtags. If you’re using the Mastodon desktop site you can even create pinned columns with the tags that matter most to you.
Good hashtags to search on are “introduction” and “introductions” (I’m not sure which is in vogue right now). People use those tags to announce themselves and give a little bit of background.
Good luck and have fun!

@dalias@hachyderm.io @gnomon@mastodon.social The tough part is finding one to trust. We must choose between various types of mistrust. For my current task, which of these browser options will inflict the least harm on my interests?
RE: @technewsbot@assortedflotsam.com
Maybe somebody can parlay this into a Switch 1 jailbreak.

This is awesome. Heroes Of The Storm is a truly great game that never got its due.
