@mekkaokereke@mastodon.cloud @Gargron@mastodon.social I was following until the “hand rolling a QRT” 🤣 Anyway, my 2 cents is it’s early days for me but I’m really enjoying the distinct culture. This feels like a pleasant place to be where I might actually feel comfortable sharing publicly versus “lurking” to avoid the consequences of being too vocal.
@mekkaokereke@mastodon.cloud Hey Mekka … gotta send you some Halloween photos of the little one. Peter says 👋🏾
@dinkyshop@mstdn.social appreciate you sharing all the hashtags you’ve used to find people

@zkat@toot.cat @dzamie@yiff.life so how do you stumble onto new people and topics if you aren’t someone who spends a lot of time on social media or lacks the time to learn all the features of mastodon?
@mekkaokereke@hachyderm.io Thanks! I was wondering what all the recent hype was about especially since you are the only person I know on bluesky. Honestly I’m still waiting for a BIPOC owned site to pop up and I’m frustrated that it hasn’t happened yet. Then again it’s 2023 and I haven’t started my Biotech yet so 🤐 🤷🏽♀️
@Chanimal@mas.to @chanda@blacktwitter.io you had me at Black feminist science but the Vulcan at heart sealed the deal. Glad to have stumbled across your profile.
@renita@blacktwitter.io 🤣🤣🤣🤣 also real life footage of me.
@renita@blacktwitter.io that’s hilarious and true. I’ve been searching the same hashtags to see if I could find out where we all are. I think we need a server 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
@explorergrace@mastodon.nz soooo helpful thank you
@explorergrace@mastodon.nz so appreciate the encouragement!
@zkat@toot.cat “valuable connections with other humans” …what a concept! I had long forgotten that fundamental motivation from way back in the day when I joined my first social network. Food for thought…
