Most surprising about this all, is that people don't rise up en masse. Why do they keep accepting this from capitalists like billionaires, and from their government? Governments who have the legal responsibility to keep their citizens safe, but are in the mean time co-responsible for the climate crisis. RISE UP!

Ik heb de stukjes livestream verborgen. Ik ga er later naar kijken of ik er nog wat mee kan. Als pleister op de wond hier een veel mooiere video. Van de mars naar het AZC toe. Niet van mij, maar bevrijd uit de klauwen van Meta's Facebook.

Mona Keijzer vind dat de politie maar op de benen van feestende Marokkanen moet schieten. De Telegraaf doet lekker mee met het framen van deze zogenaamde rellen.
De politie intimideerde vanochtend op grote schaal in Den Haag en Rotterdam. Ze lieten de Marokkanen maar heel eventjes feesten. Dit voelt voor de Marokkaanse gemeenschap alsof ze de wereldcup hebben gewonnen en terecht. Als dit Nederlanders waren geweest, dan zou het geframed zijn alsof het allemaal zo heerlijk gezellig en gemoedelijk was. Toen in 1988 Nederland het EK won, waren er uren lang opstoppingen in alle Nederlandse steden, waar de politie ook aan meedeed en bij de inhuldiging in Amsterdam sneuvelden er meerdere woonboten. Nu stond de politie (incl. ME) de Marokkanen al intimiderend op de wachten.

Dat was een zgn. balletjespistool volgens de politie. Er van uitgaande dat dit inderdaad zo was (moet je dat willen geloven), dan is dat heel stom van die persoon. Maar uitgebreide rellen? Nee. Ja mensen waren boos op de politie omdat ze al na een half uur door een waterkanon werden verdreven. Die hadden ze dus al klaarstaan en dan weet je meteen wat de intentie was van de politie.

I'm going to upgrade and see where this is going. The main reason for this is my now working banking app (Triodos) and DigID (Dutch government ID app). But I will still try to find an alternative for when it goes wrong again. You can of course draw your own conclusion.
✏️ edit: My OTA update is not yet ready. It's a so called staggered release, so this was expected.

As you can see on this map, are the #Netherlands and #Denmark the ONLY two countries in #Europe where May 1st (Labour Day) is NOT a national holiday. Although in Denmark (according to Wikipedia [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Workers%27_Day#Denmark]) many people have a full or half day off. Not in the Netherlands.
Another proof that the Netherlands is NOT a progressive country. At least he could move his egoistic birthday party to May 1st (so people could choose). His mother was even worse. Hier de beloofde geblurde beelden van de 1 mei-demo in #Nijmegen. Er is vast wel meer, maar dit is waar ik de beschikking over heb.
Helaas zijn de beelden van het politieoptreden niet goed te anonimiseren (wat betreft activisten, de politie zou mij een zorg zijn). Het liet in ieder geval zien dat de politie onderling een conflict hadden. De situatie was namelijk onder controle en we konden bijna weer verder lopen. Toen kwam plotseling een groepje jonge ME'ers op ons (en de reguliere politie) afrennen. Dat zag er uit als een Monty Python-sketch, omdat twee keer een ME'er hun telefoon liet vallen (incl. het oprapen van collega's). De al aanwezige reguliere politie liet duidelijk blijken niet gecharmeerd te zijn van dit onnodige ME-optreden. Vervolgens werd ook nog een fysiek beperkte kameraad geduwd, waardoor deze persoon ten val kwam via twee politie-fietsen.
Maar dit gebeurd dus regelmatig. Dat op het eind de politie de boel toch nog zonder duidelijke aanleiding laat escaleren. Het lijkt alsof ze er van balen dat de demonstratie rustig en ordelijk is verlopen.

🆘 Een vriendin van mij heeft hoogstwaarschijnlijk ook post/long-covid met POTS en PEM. Ze wordt van het kastje naar de muur gestuurd en als er al hulp is (zoals een kliniek), dan kan ze dat bij lange na niet betalen (want armoede). Van al dat geregel is ze elke keer dagen van slag. De hittegolf van laatst voelde voor haar alsof ze aan het doodgaan was. Ze kan het huis ook niet koel krijgen, wat ze ook doet (incl. airco). Mogelijk nieuwe hittegolf kan echt fataal worden.
Ze vraagt nu vooral iemand die met haar kan nadenken over wat te doen. Ik zelf heb er geen verstand van en kan alleen praktische dingen doen. Dus als mensen ideeën hebben, laat het me weten. Ja dit is een hulpvraag. 😢 🙏🏻

Nou dat was me het dagje wel. Geen fascist of nazi gezien. Behalve dan fascistoïde types van Powned, Ongehoord Nederland en dergelijke pseudo journalisten. Ook de NOS was er. Volgens de plaatselijke pers waren er wel rellende fascisten in de buurt, maar die durfden niet bij ons in de buurt te komen. Stelletje lafaards.
