@aizuchi before I met my nonbinary husband, I dated a few men and I treated all of them like they might be murderers. I managed to dodge a few bullets acting like that. Always meet in public. Preferably day time. Told my friends where I was and when to expect me back and to call me if I was late even by a minute. I always keep a knife or some kind of defensive device on me at all times. Even when I'm "not allowed to" (the law takes a backseat to my life and safety). I watched very closely how much they were drinking when we had alcoholic drinks (almost all were very obviously trying to drink less than me and would constantly ask if I wanted more even if mine was half full still). If they get up to use the bathroom a lot, like more than expected, run. I kept my personal life vague till I thought they weren't gonna SA me. One dude even tried to convince me to quit school and join a commune with him on the first date (after lying to me about his height. Which I genuinely don't care about a guy's height, I care if they lie). I called it off then and there. He threw a tantrum and called me a whore. Almost all of them tried to use me like a bucket list when they found out I'm trans. Huge red flag and I ghosted them. Basically, a man has to prove to me first that he's safe to be around before I even consider talking to them longer than 5 seconds let alone date one.

Maybe give a quick summary or brief explanation to address a question or concern. All you're doing is coming off as incredibly condescending and dismissive when you just sit there and say "but did you read it?". Even if you're correct or the article actually does address such concerns, you aren't providing a strong defense for your argument. If you want people to agree with you, you must reach out and meet them halfway.

Some of us have that fire to be open and to be that walking middle finger to cis patriarchy. Others don't and that isn't shameful. Everyone has their own reasons as to why. Be it their job, family, etc. If they ain't out, let them be. The "nazi anime pfp" thing has always smacked of at best holier-than-thou and at worst people saying that come off as fascist themselves. Anonymity doesn't auto-magically mean that person is evil and it's kinda sus if you say it does. Dysphoria sucks butts and I didn't always use my face and name so publicly. I do it now as a challenge to the broader USA zeitgeist. I do it because I have that fire. I'll gladly paint a target on my back to protect other trans siblings. To normalize our lives. Cis people: Fucking listen to us more. Don't. Out. People. Who. Aren't. Out.

Na ihr deutschen, ich hab ne frage über ein Simpsons gag (nur weil ich die Episode gerade jetzt anschaue):
In der Episode "Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk" lernt Mr. Smithers Deutsch und übersetzt "You look sharp today, sir" als "You Looken Sharpen Todayen, mein Herr". Ist es das gleiche in der deutschen Version oder sonst was?

@eniko@mastodon.gamedev.place a 14k modem, an afternoon with an O'Reilly book, and my sister's dad (who codes databases for a living) taught 9 year old me how to build a website. I was 9 friggin years old the first time I coded a fully functioning website that had a guest book. I was handling input/output and database structures at 9! If you’re a grown ass adult who drones on and on about how you need an ai slop machine to create a page for you......you've been conditioned to believe you're too incapable of becoming more than you are now. That's the saddest thing I can think of and I pity those that go about their lives like that.
