This doesn't make it make any more sense. Fuck yea I'd be eating even more soy, I'd be smoking it, couldn't get enough.
Instead I'll settle for doing it like god intended with intramuscular estridiol valereate.
The funny thing is the reason I actually eat a lot of soy is to support my feminine urge to lift weights and get ripped.

I was working on an internal analytics dashboard at some other Very Large Company What Competes With Google and someone pushed a change to fetch and run an analytics package directly from Google servers. I had to spend almost a week ripping out their changes and redoing the analytics using a lib that wasn't directly sourced from our primary competition (also I'm pretty sure the way it was used violated it's license).
So yea my lack of surprise is palpable.

@alice it's very worth repeating, but wow it's frustrating going over this again and again. Nothing about what you're saying has changed in the past 30-odd years since sites with easy signup became a thing, but then every new platform does the same thing of having wide open signups from the start and is "totally shocked" when that leads to the same problems that have been happening for decades.

@EmilyGB2023 growing up my parents handed over all things lawn care related to me as soon a they convinced themselves it was "safe". They didn't care that I was allergic, they didn't care that no amount of reward was worth dealing with it to me.
I made two resolutions. I would not do lawn care unless forced. I would not demand labor of my kids without their consent.
In the time since I've also become anti- lawn in general on ecological grounds, but that's secondary.

@soft@normal.style yeaaaa there's a whole complex of different capabilities that can fail and different scenarios that can derail ability to initiate or stay on task. It's really frustrating because of you flatten things down to "executive dysfunction" people discussing it can be talking about completely different scenarios and not even realize it.
For example two common but super seperate scenarios:
Person has trouble initiating a particular task because even contemplating doing it increases their anxiety, so they have a habit of distracting themselves with other tasks.
Person is able to start working on a task, but any interruption is likely to get them out of their comfort zone with dealing with the task, with impact ranging from, "wasting a bunch of time starting over" to "literally forgetting what they were trying to do and doing diverging else instead".
These are both properly executive dysfunction but also not really the same thing in terms of mitigation strategies.
