Over belasting op aandelenstijgingen
De CDA-senatoren vinden het namelijk "niet eerlijk" dat mensen belasting moeten betalen over "geld dat er niet is".
Ik vind het niet eerlijk dat je, als je genoeg geld hebt, een groot deel ervan kan omzetten in een variant "die er niet is", die meestal sneller meer waard wordt dan geld dat er wel is, en waar je bovendien geen belasting over hoeft te betalen.
11500 wajongers zien hun uitkering van gemiddeld 750/mnd verdwijnen.
Scheelt de samenleving toch weer 100 miljoen per jaar, en dat is echt tering veel geld!
Namelijk al bijna 1/20e van de veel te optimistisch geschatte bijdrage die we voor de renovatie van Tata Steel moeten lappen.
Of 1/20 van de fiscale voordelen die Shell in Nederland op jaarbasis krijgt.
Of 1/100 van de hyptheekrente-aftrek, die wél geleideijk afgebouwd wordt.
Of ruim 10 keer het jaarlijkse wachtgeld voor politici...

The case doesn't have to be, but the the rings themselves are interconnected too.
There's probably some way around it, and then there are only so many other issues to solve.
And the thing in it's current state is already brilliant. People of every generation plug in their phones and laptops on exactly this type of plug every single day of their lives. Everybody understands this instantly. Sturdy, resilient, fool proof.

The ring binder is on a single metal frame. Would need a different design.
Easier to forget to switch off.
The holes in the pages are bigger than the rings, so they may not make good contact.
All pages switched on or you need additional electronics to prevent that.
It would turn a cool thing that simply works into an error prone disappointment.
And with this, you can take an individual page and your own phone charger, and it still works.

Allround PLSQL developer supports colors per database connection. I set it to blue, green, yellow and red (well, pink) for dev, testing, acceptance and production environments, and it has been a life saver 😅

@Frieke72@mastodon.social Dat, of ze blijven geprikkeld om aan het werk te gaan, maar gaan ten onder door de (financiele) stress die krijgt als je zo hard werkt als je kan en nog steeds niet rond kan komen.
Ik geloof dat motivatie voor meeste mensen niet het probleem is.

@Skoop@phpc.social De mensen die 'm kwijtraken zijn mensen die 5 jaar werken zonder onderbrekingen en zonder professionele hulp. Best kans dat er voor nieuwe aanvragen niets verandert, al weet ik er te weinig van om daar wat zinnigs over te kunnen zeggen. Ik hoop voor jullie dat het lukt!

I prefer DPNs as well. To mark the start of row, I often put the stitch marker before the last stitch, so it doesn't fall off at the end of the row. The actual start is where the needle starts.
Often I will use a color coded chain of (openable) markers if I need to alternate rows, for example a red and a green for gusset increases. When I move the marker, I also flip the color on the needle. Red means, the next round is an increase, green is normal knit.
