Brought some Yankee KitKats to do a side by side comparison with the Canadian "equivalent". They are so much better in Canada. Top three ingredients in US version: sugar, wheat flour, cocoa butter. Canadian is: milk chocolate, wheat flour, sugar.

I came across one of my freshly molted stick bugs eating its exuviae. Funny how it's never struck me that I never find them (the exuviae, that is) in the enclosure and now it makes total sense.

@futurebird@sauropods.win @secretsloth@mastodon.art I think there _have_ been experiments in this vein done on vertebrates, we just never hear about them, because the results are never earth shattering. I know of scientists that have done some very unethical experiments with vertebrates that have stayed under the table. Nothing that was super deadly, but definitely altered the lives of the animals manipulated.
