@ZachWeinersmith Cannot confirm. Lots of physics and electrical engineering journals still aren't Open Access (and will remain so for what was published in the past).
However, at least still (crossing fingers to MAGA goons don't find it), there are gems like the NASA archive and lots of open source stuff indeed.

Beim Verbotsverfahren, das D nicht anstößt, geht es ... nun ja ... um ein Verbot.
Was immer das EP entscheidet, es mag sein, dass die ESN Fraktion wech ist. Die Parteien werden es nicht sein.

Vielleicht auch mal selbst mit den diversen Online-Tools spielen, um das einschätzen zu lernen. Ich glaube, das von SMA war ganz okay.
Ich weiß nie, was die mit "lohnt sich nicht" genau meinen. Die Installation kann ja tatsächlich recht teuer sein, aber selbst bei ner Ost-West Ausrichtung meiner Eltern und Verschattung durch die Nachbarhäuser bringt das über's Jahr nen guten Tausender allein an Eigenverbrauchseinsparung.
For about 2-3 years now, search engine results not only suck. They are abysmal. The only thing they do is guide you to a place you can buy stuff. If it's anything but, god beware "free information", it is invisible. You only land on wikis (real ones, not the Ai slop wikis) by serendipity - and certainly *not* because you were searching for it.
Just found a quite interesting Analog Design wiki page on transistor circuits. It contained all *but* the keyword I was looking for. And that's not an outlier.
This is the #SloppiethCentury and it suuuuucks.

@radritterin@sueden.social Ha, geil. Dass Fahrräder 0mm breit sind, kannte ich ja vom Überholt werden. Aber dass sie auch nur 300mm lang sind, wusste ich noch nicht.
So nen Quatsch gabs bei meinem Arbeitgeber früher auch. Mittlerweile hat man zweistöckige Fahrradständer mit Überdachung hingestellt - und siehe da: besonders bei gutem Wetter sind sie jetzt so voll, dass man mehr davon baut. Ich hoffe, das checken sie in deinem Fall auch bald.

Falls es von euch jemanden in die Innenstadt von #Offenbach verschlägt: Schaut mal ins #SCAPE rein (Frankfurter Straße 39). Das ist eine schöne, kinderfreunliche Dauerausstellung über Wetter und Klima. Wir hatten fast 2 Stunden Spaß mit einem Kiga- und einem Grundschulkind. Und das macht der @DeutscherWetterdienst@social.bund.de echt gut - also neben dem Wetter heute, das war auch ne Glanzleistung.
Bonustipp: bei der Kommunalwahl dieses Jahr hat die 💩fD in Offenbach nur 3,4% bekommen. Was für eine sympathische Stadt!
Spannend und natürlich tüpisch Doitschland, dass für die #Schallimmissionsbewertung von #Wärmepumpen gemeinsame Bund-Länder-Kommissionen existieren und bändeweise Gesetze, Richtlinien und Handreichungen geschrieben werden, während ... BRUMMM... die Straße ... HUUUUUP ... eine Häuserreihe .... WUUUMMM ... um Größenordnungen ... MOTORRADBRUUUMMM ... lauter ist. PORSCHEBRUMMMM ... Aber da kann man ... WUUUUUSCH ... nichts machen ... HUUUUP ... Artenschutz!

Das ist einfach ein höherer Raum als sowas einfaches wie Hilbert- oder Banach-Räume.

I suspect an issue with my installation, as the podman packages come from the testing branch of Debian bookworm for ARM while the host is actually an Armbian 26 (bookworm based). I also ran into an issue where I could for the love of the podgod not change the graphRoot directory.
Yeah, it's really weird. Since your responses show that I'm not totally insane (thanks a lot! ^^) I think I'll make the effort to move the system out of that weird state into a more recent non-frankensteinian Armbian state. I just read that there's a Debian 13/Trixie based image now, so that should lead somewhere.

I don't see a difference between rootful and -less either.
I have a problem where #podman containers' ports are published in such a way that they are accessible from localhost but not the LAN. Looks like they listen on 127.0.0.1 rather than, say, 192.168.1.1. So from another machine in the same network, say 192.168.1.2 I can't access them.

But he is right: the value doesn't lie in the paper or PDF. It lies in insight, experience, painstakingly designing experiments, verifying them, codifying and making available your experience for the next generation of researchers. You know, what publishers usually don't do - and tbh even many research departments fail to do properly.

Könnte natürlich auch sein, dass es unter den Kunden welche gibt, die einfach behaupten, die Ware sei verschwunden, und es (implizit) den Mitarbeitenden in die Schuhe schieben. Aber auch das sagt ja nix Gutes über den Umgang mit der Belegschaft (und der Kundschaft).
