Russia Unita ha conquistato un numero record di seggi alla Duma di Stato nelle elezioni parlamentari concluse ieri. È quanto emerge dai dati della Commissione elettorale centrale esaminati da Ria Novosti. Si prevede che Russia Unita conquisterà 355 dei 450 seggi. Nella precedente Duma di Stato, il partito era rappresentato da 310 deputati. Si tratta di una maggioranza costituzionale che permette al partito putiniano di passare leggi e riforme senza bisogno di alleati.
Un altro record toccato nelle ultime elezioni è quello dell'affluenza. Secondo la presidente della Commissione elettorale centrale, Ella Pamfilova, il dato è stato del 59,32%. "È la più alta affluenza mai registrata per un'elezione di questo livello", ha sottolineato la funzionaria. Dopo lo scrutinio del 95,18% dei voti, Russia Unita ha ottenuto il 57,83% dei voti di lista, il Partito Comunista il 13,81%, il Partito Liberal Democratico di Russia (Ldpr) l'8,98% e Nuova Gente il 7,96%. Russia Giusta ha attualmente il 4,96%. Pamfilova ha affermato che il partito "ha buone possibilità" di superare la soglia di sbarramento del 5%.
Nei collegi uninominali, i rappresentanti di Russia Unita hanno vinto in 208 dei 225 collegi. I candidati del Partito Comunista si sono classificati al primo posto in cinque collegi, Russia Giusta in quattro, candidati indipendenti in altri quattro, il Partito Liberal Democratico in due e Rodina in uno. Pertanto, secondo i dati preliminari, Russia Unita avrà 355 seggi nella Duma di Stato, ben oltre i 301 che servono per avere una maggioranza costituzionale; i comunisti ne controlleranno 40, i liberal democratici 25, Nuova Gente ne avrà 20 e Russia Giusta quattro. Per Russia Unita si tratta del risultato migliore di sempre: il precedente record del partito era quello delle elezioni del 2016, quando alla Duma entrarono 343 deputati.

United Russia has won a record number of seats in the State Duma in yesterday’s parliamentary elections. This is according to data from the Central Election Commission examined by RIA Novosti. It is predicted that United Russia will capture 355 of the 450 seats. In the previous State Duma, the party was represented by 310 deputies. This constitutes a constitutional majority which allows the Putinist party to pass laws and reforms without needing allies.
Another record touched upon in the recent elections is voter turnout. According to the chairwoman of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, the figure was 59.32%. “It is the highest turnout ever recorded for an election of this level,” the official noted. After counting 95.18% of the votes, United Russia obtained 57.83% of the list votes, the Communist Party 13.81%, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) 8.98%, and New People 7.96%. Just Russia currently has 4.96%. Pamfilova stated that the party “has good chances” of exceeding the 5% threshold.
In single-member districts, representatives of United Russia won in 208 of the 225 constituencies. Candidates from the Communist Party came in first place in five constituencies, Just Russia in four, independent candidates in another four, the LDPR in two, and Rodina in one. Therefore, according to preliminary data, United Russia will have 355 seats in the State Duma, well beyond the 301 needed for a constitutional majority; the communists will control 40, the liberal democrats 25, New People will have 20, and Just Russia four. For United Russia, this is the best result ever: the previous record of the party was from the 2016 elections, when 343 deputies entered the Duma.
