There’s a reason we call Ozzy Mr. Whiskers. #MoggyHorde #cats #CatsOfMastodon #Ozzy

Often these days I have to reason backwards to understand what a new meme comes from. This time, I started seeing memes about Grok making an historically accurate AI movie about The Odyssey. Finally, I traced it back to that supremely useless piece of shit, Musk, being so bent out of shape about a Black Helen of Troy, that he said he would have Grok make an historically accurate AI movie about The Odyssey. What’s next, historically accurate movies of Narnia, Middle Earth, and Oz? Will no one rid us of this meddlesome techbro? Oops, is that too historically accurate? #MarxToot #ElonMusk

Tilly morphed from the “donut” sleeping position into the “reverse comma” position. #MoggyHorde #cats #CatsOfMastodon #TillyCat

Silvervine is a plant that grows in Japan, China, and Russia. It affects cats in a similar way as catnip. It can come powdered, but I buy packets of silvervine sticks from chewy.com. You have to be careful that it’s real silvervine and not some other kind of stick coated in silvervine powder or something like that. I wouldn’t say our cats are wild about it, but from time to time, they suddenly get into chewing on and playing with the silvervine sticks, as you can see. #MoggyHorde #cats #CatsOfMastodon #TillyCat #Tuxita

Obie honors me by hanging out in the top of the cat tree in my office. Pink toe beans are in evidence. #MoggyHorde #cats #CatsOfMastodon #ObiCat

Tilly loves to snuggle into Randy’s armpit. She isn’t a lap cat, so this is special when she does it, and she only does it for Randy. #MoggyHorde #cats #CatsOfMastodon #TillyCat

@heidilifeldman@mastodon.social This is disgusting. The US has utterly betrayed the Afghans.

@theropologist@beige.party @woof@aria.dog I have nothing to do with this issue. I don't even know what the issue is.

@skinnylatte How could you not love that face.

@Steveb63@mastodonapp.uk The feets! The belly!

@Nickiquote LOL!

@TheJen@beige.party Not a programmer, but my first computer was a Kaypro 10. Wrote animation scripts in WordStar CPM and created databases in CPM. Created my first computer game at Sierra On-line in 1988. In my 70s now. Used to play WoW, but got bored with it.

@Lorraine@beige.party Can the eggs hatch?

@tillybridges@mastodon.social Here's my comment: "This proposed rule has nothing to do with safety and everything to do with anti-trans bigotry. It is pure discrimination on the basis of gender identity. There is no good reason for this discrimination and it will instead make life less safe for people in need. It is shameful and unconstitutional. If people of supposed "faith" cannot accommodate someone in need no matter what their gender identity, then there is something wrong with their "faith". It certainly doesn't align with genuine Christian values. THIS RULE IS WRONG AND SHOULD NOT BE PUT IN PLACE."

@Lana@beige.party Fuck yeah.

@JayJustice@blacktwitter.io Looking back over your posts and your cosplay is awesome!

@drumshaman@mas.to Lovely.

@captainvellalives@lgbtqia.space She is GORGEOUS.

@noctuaminervae A long time ago I was hired to adapt the Monkey legends for animation. I read the entire body of stories in annotated version. It was fascinating. There are layers of puns and meaning. Sadly the project never went anywhere.

@TheEddieShow@beige.party Well done!

@pluralistic Why does anyone give a shit about this Dawkins guy?

@croyle@wandering.shop Everything is blooming early here. I think we're in for a brutal summer.

@MissConstrue @matdevdug

@thorncoyle@wandering.shop Sheryl Crow?

@jonn_blanchard Check out miblart.com. professional work at reasonable prices.

@annaleen@wandering.shop This is a delightful book, folks. Buy and enjoy!

@dadbod No mention of Nook. Huge oversight.

@finestructure@mastodon.social Sounds about right!

@skinnylatte Fascinating thread. Thanks for sharing it.

@Thorium@social.linux.pizza @heidilifeldman@mastodon.social Yes. I am equally disgusted by the treatment of the Kurds.

@PamelaBarroway@mstdn.social Yes please do share widely.

@tknarr@mstdn.social Holy shit, thanks for that info.

@tito_swineflu@sfba.social I'm not sure what the end goal of my scammer was, but it definitely required the use of a QR code in some way. Possibly to steal my data, lock up my computer, take over my identity...who knows. These scammers are often in Nigeria and similar places where they probably have a distorted notion of how rich writers are. I've come across supposed "bio" websites that show me worth a million dollars. In my varied career as a writer, it was cycles of feast and famine. I had years where I did very well, and years when I couldn't afford the co-pay to see a doctor and at one point I was tens of thousands of dollars in debt. It took years of sacrifice and hard work to dig out of that debt. But to a scammer, I guess we're all rich. #MarxToot #writers #writing #writersofmastodon

@Catvalente Congrats!

@daliazygas@mastodon.online I haven't seen regular bees come to these flowers. I've seen some kind of small insect, but don't know what it was.

@msokolov@fosstodon.org Wow yeah be careful. Are they using a Gmail or Hotmail account?

@skinnylatte Holy fuck.

@elebertus@eigenmagic.net A kitten sacrifice to our Great Lord Cthulu.

@nnedi@mas.to I love it.

@finestructure@mastodon.social What is the melting point of moggies anyway?

@kaena@fe.disroot.org Maybe I would have if I'd stood there long enough. ;)

@skroobler@social.vivaldi.net I feel that judgment.

@ScottEdelman@wandering.shop Happy First Story Day! You beat me by four years. This year, I have the amazing experience of seeing a sequel to my first story (which I just wrote) appear in print, 46 years later. How often does THAT happen?
