With the state of *gestures widely* everything, it's been hard to feel much joy lately. But I am so grateful & honored to be invited to speak at GDC this year, especially as a gamedev who was impacted by layoffs last year. Check out our talk & hit me up for meetups! I'll see you in San Francisco! #GDC #gamedev

@CStamp@mastodon.social I appreciate the compliment on my costume work! Can't really take credit for the face lmao, it came like this 😂
@lich_silvae@masto.fediverse.games it's not paint actually, I hand sewed reflective tape on it because I wanted it to be easily washable. Thank you!
Replying to
@xenophora@mastodon.art Thanks for the compliment! The first image is a photo of me in a costume at DragonCon, so I just used fabric, craft foam, glue and paint. The photographer was Alexandra Lee. The second image is one I drew by hand on an Ipad with an Apple Pencil using IbisPaint X, it's a free drawing app that has an option to pay if you would like access to more brushes and tools within the app. I don't mind being asked questions about art at all!
Replying to
@xenophora@mastodon.art I am terrible about using my iPad on my desk, even though I have space for it. I even have a mount for it to use it at an angle that's better for my back, but I never use that either. This is how I'm usually drawing when I have time lol https://blacktwitter.io/@JayJustice/110560533398548456

Coco looked so cute sleeping with her little paw over her face, she hates when I take photos of her but I tried to sneak one anyway and at the last second she opened her eyes and caught me red handed 😂👁️👁️ #cats #CatsOfMastodon #caturday

I've gotten a lot of really nice movie tie in gifts and promos over the years but this might be my favorite one. It feels like having a little piece of the movie with me 🥹 I would love to know the name of the artist who drew this for Marvel, if anyone knows please share! #Spiderman #SpidermanBrandNewDay
