We've officially seen as many bird species this year as last year. Woohoo! I like to watch this number and at least try to keep up with myself each year, because it feels like I'm still winning the battle with lupus if I'm getting out and birding.
Making progress slowly, sport weight takes forever. 5 more inches to go before the crown. This yarn color is blueberry lemonade, from Baah Yarn. I've made this particular hat pattern two times before for my wife, she really likes it and wants a variety of colors. 😆 Anniversary coming up so I'm trying to finish this month. The pattern is Intro Slouch by Woolly Wormhead. #FinishOrFrogAlong #Knitting
No, I do not want to use natural language to search for jobs. I want to enter hard parameters so I know I only get results that are actually a fit in terms of schedule and location, not waste my time skimming past bad fuzzy matches.
I'm sure there is a better way to tell how many coasters my skein of yarn can make other than making coasters until the skein is gone lol. #knitting

I'm fairly certain one of the songs in the soundtrack for Please Fix the Road is also one of the songs in the soundtrack for Winkeltje: The Little Shop. I can't find any commonalities in who was involved in these two games to explain it and it's really bugging me lol. I like the song and want to know who made it. #VideoGames #Soundtrack

@emilymbender I've had several ask. One was pressury about it. One was a big group and it was easy to opt out at check in, yet I suspect from some of the notes that they might be using it anyway. For mental health providers I screen for this before working them.
I have some knitting needles that are a very small and don't say their size on the needle itself. Most of my needles say the size either on the needle or the metal connecting part like for interchangeable ones. I have a needle organizer, but I'm so sure I'll leave needles in a project long enough that I'll forget what size they are. Do you all have any secrets for labeling needles? I don't think I could just write on them in permanent marker haha.
Very happy that doves are enjoying the tree outside our patio again this year. I love their gentle coo sounds. #birdwatching

@RickiTarr depends on the pain, but generally I have a variety of maintenance efforts like a coccyx cushion, physical therapy routine, daily walks, sunscreen (lupus), dietary choices. Those are just to try to keep it from max pain to more like bad pain. Then I try to go for aspercreme, compression, TENS, massage device, over the counter meds. Then prescriptions. Sadly I don't ever expect to feel below average or no pain again. So part of my coping is acceptance.

@ElizabethEiler@universeodon.com I haven't published a book but I've seen collections of unrelated poems that were more based on shared time period (like poems written during a year of travel or during school) or shared form (like concrete or blackout). I suppose those are sort of themes too!
