re #introduction and update. I make organic, dirty, dark and dystopian electronic dance, powernoise, industrial and techno oontz and soundscapes. I haven't the resources to be as regularly performative as the feed demands. Hoping to find some more friends of the beauty in the darkness mindset and who might like to have a go at some of my darker oontz stylings. Would love to see some sharing of things you like. Not your cup of tea? Fair. Any help pointing others is well rad. My catalogue is free or donate IF you can at my #faircamp https://music.control.org I am available for donate what you can #commissions for #remix, #gameAssets, installations, #soundtrack, etc. If you want something dark, heavy, dirty, that is my wheelhouse. I can certainly slide a bit more accessible if that is your desire. With some support, hoping to get 3 new albums and an EP tidied up, finalised, arted and released in the coming months. A big storm cloud over my head this week is that I have run out of resource to keep my already stripped and consolidated for costs infrastructure up for the slightly more ethical self-hosting of my music downloads, mail list, web site, federated social, and a bit of testing for streaming and artist support and advocacy. Since my generic winter heat and meds campaign failed earlier this year, I have not had the security to focus on arting as hard as I had hoped as diversionary therapy. So I am trying smaller incremental goals to keep the oontz train steaming. Hoping to use music to keep fighting and share what I can in my final act. I cannot tour as myself or as tech or engineer, nor work in public spaces due to health, so over the last year I have done a heap of physio and recovery work and returned to live performance by presenting four custom produced concerts from my home brewed DIY micro black box theatre in my lounge via #owncast. With the budget of nope and your help, I think we've had some fun and presented some pretty solid themed multimedia concerts pulling from my four artist solo catalogue of 30 years and incorporating and teasing new and upcoming works. The next event is 21 October 2000 UTC at Gravitons' 3rd W3dn35day https://stream.gravitons.org/ After that, universe willing, I will be assembling the World Replication Tour to celebrate a second volume of eclectic alt and pop covers [ https://music.control.org/replicate1/ ] and present to various time zones' "prime time". Then in March I will present the full Radiate album as a show for its 25th anniversary as we did with Manipulate earlier this year. Links for music, #peertube video, mail list and donation links in bio. Cheers for reading. Wear a mask. Stomp in solidarity. Save seed. Fight for the users. Embrace indigeneity. Damn the man. Hack the planet. -ctrl #music #fediMusic #art #fediArt #industrial #synth #ebm #dance #goth #powernoise #noise #synthpop #futurepop #liveMusic #concert #streaming #gameDesign #horror #dystopian #independentMusic #boostswelcome #getFediHired

And now for something completely different – this #soundtrack from the Norwegian movie THE TOUGH GUYS (2013), which can only be described as epic western adventure gangster banjo punk. #Filmmusic blog Reel Music awarded this soundtrack "Best Comedy Score" in 2013, while admittedly awesome composers such as Alexandre Desplat were nominated in the same category. Certainly a pinch-me moment in my career. https://eirikmyhr.bandcamp.com/album/de-t-ffeste-gutta-original-soundtrack #BandcampFriday

And then there's this #soundtrack from a #theatre production of #AstridLindgren's THE BROTHERS LIONHEART, from 2014. I actually think this album serves as a musical companion to Lindgren's beautiful original novel, regardless of this particular theatre production. Featuring a handpicked string quintet from The Norwegian Radio Orchestra, and myself on various keyboards and percussion. https://eirikmyhr.bandcamp.com/album/br-rne-l-vehjarte-original-theatre-soundtrack-for-det-norske-teatret #BandcampFriday

#electronicmusic#soundtrack#sciencefiction

I’m a classically-trained composer working on a large-scale gothic soundtrack for Curse of Strahd, with a new track releasing every other week (usually; it’s been a rough summer). This fortnight, we explore the eerie lake and frozen mountain to the north of these lands. https://youtu.be/rkvITMxXncw If you like it, please consider supporting me on Patreon at https://patreon.com/c/TheArcaneComposer #DungeonsAndDragons #DnD #TTRPG #CurseOfStrahd #Gothic #Music #Soundtrack

I guess it's time for an updated #Introduction: 🥁 Dear Fediverse! 🎶 I am a #composer of #theatre music and #filmmusic, living in the lovely woods of Asker, Norway. I've been lucky enough to make a living from this for 20 years, and constantly want to reinvent myself musically, or else I get bored real quickly. During one year, one project could be scored with a chamber orchestra, but the next one might be banjo punk. I was a pretty decent drummer once, but too impatient to stay in one band for very long. Today, I might release the occasional solo album or EP, but most of my releases are #soundtrack albums. As a music listener I'm into everything from #Bach to #Dvorak to #Genesis to #RATM, and everything in-between. 💿 I am #actuallyautistic and #ADHD. I have a four year old kid who I love more than the universe itself. I obsess over #StarWars and #EdvardGrieg more than what is probably considered healthy. I buy lots of CDs at flea markets and organise them all onto my wonderful #Plex server (another obsession!) Grew up with 90s PC adventure games from the likes of #LucasArts, and wish I had time to complete all those games I never got to finish, and replay all the ones I did. Thank heavens for @scummvm@manitu.social 👾 I detest fascist man-babies and evil tech-bros. In a continuous #degoogle process, one step at a time. Love #OSM and maps in general (seriously, another obsession?) Coffee needed to soothe brain. ☕ Website ➡️ https://eirikmyhr.no Bandcamp ➡️ https://eirikmyhr.bandcamp.com/

From Russia with Love is the 1963 soundtrack for the second James Bond film, From Russia With Love. This is the first series film with John Barry as the primary soundtrack composer. The soundtrack's original recordings are thought to be lost and did not appear when the Bond soundtrack albums were issued in remastered form on CD. The album is different from the film with the album's recording of the main titles sounding slower and not featuring the organ played by Alan Haven. Several tracks on the album do not appear in the completed film. The album was the last of the Bond soundtrack albums to feature more than the usual six tracks per record side. - Wikipedia https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkAUJkbhd-RgpmOGGxRfIzwwHmk2C_xjJ #JamesBond #JohnBarry #FromRussiaWithLove #Soundtrack #Music

#FinalFantasy legend Nobuo Uematsu has just released his latest work. Merregnon: Heart of Ice is a newly composed orchestral symphonic fairy tale in the tradition of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, based on a children's book by Frauke Angel and recorded at Abbey Road Studios with the London Symphony Orchestra, narrated by actress Alicia Vikander. Here's some wonderful music to cool off: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7PiiqaVvUU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t09B_6p4edA Press release: https://www.deccaclassics.com/en/artists/nobuo-uematsu/news/decca-classics-announces-first-original-concert-work-by-nobuo-uematsu-merregnon-heart-of-ice-278557 #NobuoUematsu #Merregnon #Soundtrack #nowPlaying

Seriously, if TMS were to let anyone do a "Spechal Collectors Edition" of CyberSix they should not only get the Soundtrack (without Sound Effects) on CD and add it in the package but also get the other ambient Soundtracks on it alongside a new recording of the "Full Lenght Theme"... I'm pretty confident they still have those. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBbl61cVeVE #TMS #CyberSix #CollectorsEdition #SpechalEdition #Soundtrack #CD #Audio #Background #ambient #Score #サイバーシックス #OST #BGM #BackgroundMusic #archive

Blow-Up is a soundtrack album by American jazz pianist Herbie Hancock, featuring music composed for Michelangelo Antonioni's 1966 film Blowup. MGM Records released the album in the United States on 20 February 1967, and in the United Kingdom on 10 May. The album features performances by Hancock, trumpeters Freddie Hubbard and Joe Newman, alto saxophonist Phil Woods, tenor saxophonist Joe Henderson, guitarist Jim Hall, bassist Ron Carter and drummer Jack DeJohnette. Although Jimmy Smith is credited with playing organ on the album, some sources claim it was actually Paul Griffin who was at the sessions - Wikipedia I re-watched the film last year after reading the short story that inspired it by Julio Cortázar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LA8U703G_s&list=PLkAUJkbhd-RjzIXr_NXGzvpOcqLH1pxEi&index=1 #BlowUp #Soundtrack #HerbieHancock #Jazz #MichelangeloAntonioni #SwingingLondon #Music #JulioCortazar
