3 good things at local indie bookshop:

1. Overheard a nice conversation in which local author has upcoming events and asked bookshop owner to run sales for autographs.
2. I found a lovely used Robert Llewellyn book: Trees Up Close
3. This book! Lessons from Cats for Surviving Fascism. (knock stuff off shelves 🐈 😻 🐈‍⬛️) #3goodthings

Three good things today:

1. ordered rain barrel and Mr. Roof-and-Gutter approved and will install
2. Better mood and more energy
3. I roasted (airfryer) beets, onions, carrots, and turnips #3goodthings

@dlakelan@mastodon.sdf.org 2 dogs...lucky! And wait Oxy is a college and near places I used to visit! My mother was in Eagle Rock (go ahead say it in her British accent: Pasadena adjacent) and I went every year. Now our son lives in Koreatown (did MFA at LMU).

Three good things:

1. I spotted an avocado under the car seat and it is perfectly ripe and part of lunch.
2. Beautiful display at the library for migratory birds.
3. Cats sleeping or playing quietly. #3goodthings
