I have taken to locking the #cats out of the bedroom lately to get a good sleep, also one of them had a little accident a while ago which necessitated a cooling off period. Last night they pulled a fast one on me. They know the time I usually retire, so they hid in bedroom and were biding their time until I fell asleep. I woke up at 2am feeling unusually warm, and there were two cats curled in with me!

Under Ken SIm and ABC, traffic enforcement in #Vancouver was put on the back burner. Less tickets written, more dangerous streets. Maybe he was hoping the dangerous drivers would hit the street people? It doesn't work that way Ken! https://bcdrivinglawyers.com/return-of-traffic-enforcement-bc/

One of my biggest disappointments as a kid science nerd, was that meteorology didn't involve actual meteors, unless of course, you were a dinosaur.

@rye@ioc.exchange Take the wheel off, the pads too, and blast it with WD40. Leave it over night, then gently turn it to force the mechanism to move again.

There’s an argument that invariably comes up when people start discussing the ethics of technology. They’ll say something like, “technology can be used for good or bad, it depends on the person using it. The technology is neutral.” Often they’ll throw in an analogy: “a hammer can be used to build a house or kill a person.” https://emilygorcenski.com/post/our-age-of-silicon-is-collapsing/
