The worst thing I've done today is waking up.
Good morning everyone.
So it's circa 3 AM and I woke up or didn't manage to sleepy or something cuz my body has started itching.
In actuality, my physical health has deroded and my stress IS beyond normal levels so probably that's what is fucking me over.
An entire month of efforts leading to 0 units of improvements or solutions and everything getting worse by the literal day has been enough It seems to fuck me enough to fuck my sleep, the only thing that was going kind of okay
Reading the entire dota2 patch and the most confusing and hilarious thing gotta be Warlock getting 5 extra attack speed.
That was worse than giving someone 1 armor. This adds like 3 dmg per second to him if he just right clicks constantly, which he doesn't.
Someone smoked a weed below my window again and I just noticed it.

As a neat alternative I recommend Dark Crystal. It's a neat fantasy thing with cool aesthetics and the series has a few "I'm from this clan!" kind of deal.
Or just Lord of The Rings, which honestly is equally kid's friendly without the background of the authors.

I think you can imagine what "getting your ID before entering in a computer" implies, well before age related issues.
Besides that, treating children (specially teenagers) like livestock without agency instead of valid persons with valid thoughts and a valid ability to contribute to culture and society feels beyond wrong.
But that's about minor's rights, and by what you said you wouldn't even allow them to vote with some arbitrary "they're stupid" logic.

@gullok@mastodon.social @iju@mastodon.social @joho@mastodon.online the excuse of sex, most of the time (if not the entire time) is used to specifically harm two communities: women who have found a kind of work that is safer than it's previous iterations (webcam prostitution vs actual physical prostitution) and queer people. The queers has always been the primary target for saying "kids should never have ever any knowledge about sex or they turn queer and evil and queer and non-christian". Just change "sex" for "queer" and boom, all logical.
This one will probably end up in one of the game projects I was working on. It's just going too well.

The true issue at hand here is: gambling mechanisms to get money, and segregation to get money.

@StevenSaus @SecondUniverse add a quite high porcentage on a surgery in the ear to improve hearing that has been damage due to deterioration of the bone, exchanging it for a plastic piece.
I was offered that surgery and almost took It, but the person Who recommended It (and, like, 4 more persons) discovered that the benefits last only for around 6 months and need to get It replaced to -maybe- get It working again.
Dodged a bullet so hard.

There are definetly cases of people forcing other people or convincing other people, but tbh they seem to be more an exception than a rule nowdays. Except on gambling. And getting a degree. And drinking and smoking. Things with a low barrier entry tbh. It's also weird cuz if you change the topic to trans people, this sounds TERF aligned but yeah.

Just on a global scale.
The relationship of children, teenagers and younger people with sex is currently as contradictory as I explained above and only harms them. Demystifying sex is probably the first step to solve that.

Thing is,even yet,the fact that this is a much more intrusive and active choice than, let's say, a tattoo,or having by error a child actually,the effect of such psychological mechanism is severly halved by a barrier of entry
I've also been a lot into this kind of stuff, mostly personal interest tho and a lot of It through the lenses of psychology of videogames/addiction/art focused discussions so maybe i'm a bit off

I won't press it any further, but the true enemy as usual is capitalism, and until we get rid of that economy bullshit we won't be able to even grasp the surface of all this very-much-more complex-than-what-we-can-study-under-capitalism stuff.
For now I would advice to just not force anyone to anything and that's all for now.

Do we call those regrets from transitioning? I personally wouldn't.
There's also a higher % of people who wish they were never born than people who commit suicide, mostly because you would prefer to silently disappear from the world than being a bummer to so much people.
It's a bit shaky to pull too much to "anti-natalism is toxic" to justify the harassment towards sterilized women/soon to be.

And that's the thing: some won't. A lot can't in fact. A whole hell of a lot of people can't.
Damn I barely wasn't able to get through becoming partially deaf (painlessly) from 1 ear and I still don't know if I will last for long before being unable to bear it anymore. And a lot of people would consider me strong.
Who knows who can tank what, and how.

Your menstruation may not have been the worst, or maybe you just like to suffer idk, but there is a lot of people (and damn me if the number isn't rising and is probably related to microplastics and massive air pollution) who would exchange a child for several years of literal horrors, which you probably know if you had to go through that many surgeries.
It's a world with too many people and too many possiblilities, that's the thing.

But nope, this machine isn't about "looking at what is in your brain and taking it out into the real world" just like a gun isn't a "defensive tool". There's also the fact that non-english natives (and even quite a lot of english natives i've seen) aren't aware the word is something else besides the program. Probably due to lack of use. I literally knew about it last year.

@OctaviaConAmore the more languages you know the more you find nuance and meaning being portrayed outside literal words. Japanese is contextual in a lot of stuff (with that humor of double meaning), italians use gestures a lot giving a whole other meaning to what they say, in spanish we used to do a lot of physical contact before european culture started to come in, which helped to asses complicity on what is being said (some old people still do It a lot)

Misandry would be on a standpoint of "women superior". Sadly most of people who remark this point do -also- still think women are inferior in some way or another. Most commonly, physical prowess. @OctaviaConAmore and it's not like you have to be from USA to be like that. You can be heavily influenced (me, online 24/7) or just an autistic people who has trouble without literal meaning.
Tbh I only learnt to be more fluent in social communications throught irl exposure, and the difference is brutal. People don't know a lot of complex words, aren't into academics, speak only 1 language and don't mix them to have a more correct word to express it... You have to find those little things.
Yo recomiendo amistosamente La Tremenda Corte, que es un programa de radio cubano de 1950 que es bastante decente y, la verdad, hay un sentido del humor que no ha envejecido demasiado mal en su mayoría, a comparación de todas las cosas que salieron en esas fechas de sitios como Estados Unidos o España, que mayoritariamente no tienen ni puta gracia y se dedican a burlarse constantemente de figuras públicas, mujeres y otras minorías.

The reason so many magic systems do use that wording is directly related to "jewish magic" from centuries ago, which was demonized by the christians.
And yeah words are strong. In USA. Everywhere else they're not that important really, and a contextual and tone read is way more important and nunced to stablish what it means. I'm a bit sad USA's culture is invading the world but this one really makes me worry.

Might also have to do with the hellish language landscape that the RAE (Real Academia Española de la lengua), a dubious at best organization of spanish language, has created through many years of... being softly evil or hard evil people or just narcissistic and stupid.

I still cite things as "from Gamasutra" cuz their new name is so nothing that I can't remember any time compared to that stupid nothing joke that kinda made sense as it was a place to talk about "ways to make games". It was also hella fun to reference for school works and having to say "yes that's the official name. And they're more professional than us, go figure"
