One thing that I absolutely despise in recent reporting on Iran-USA war is, that each time Iran attacks USA bases located in neighboring countries, media reports as the attacks were on those countries themselves. The attacks were against foreign military bases on their territory, not against those countries. That's crucial distinction. If you omit it, you manipulate audience. #media #news #politics

@Remittancegirl@mstdn.social I will always have an issue with posts like that. They always forget that people who are disillusioned with protests might be trying (hopefully) to make. Protest gather support, they don't change anything. Direct action, violent resistance, breaking law and disobedience changes things. That is how it works. We make it difficult for any regime to govern so it's easier for them to change things than to repress further. 1/2

@EUCommission we should all expect more violence in upcoming decade as a direct result of not stopping USA and Israel, as a direct result of strict and inhumane migration policy and as a direct result of upcoming attempts at destroying human rights in EU by EU politicians. Also don't forget climate change.

@Remittancegirl@mstdn.social we also mediated as a society with ruling class throughout last 2 decades with movements such as Occupy Wall Street, Extinction Rebellion and they refuse to listen to us, so further attempts at mediating through peaceful protest are simply stupid. It's time for direct action and deeply organized resistance whatever that might mean 2/2
