Good news: I was charting yesterday on the Mac App Store.
Bad news: I didn't remember that Mac compatibility was enabled and never tested it. The app crashed at launch on Mac. 😬
@ikenndac@mastodon.social and @mergesort@macaw.social got me sorted and I'm in expedited review right now.
Thank you so much @hiro@social.lol for this nice mention of What's My Set in this week's Hiro Report!
RE: @twostraws@mastodon.social
This blog post is from 2019 and I remember it had a huge impact on me. I still do this today!
Me: I should go to bed not so late tonight.
Also me: loading up on tiramisu and Coca Cola at the RevenueCat happy hour.
Always a mixture of sadness and happy memories when @DeepDishSwift@iosdev.space is over.
While it will be so hard for me to give up
skeuomorphism again I do love this 8 bit theme for next year!
I'm going to be real and admit that I had some worries about the Indie Fair last year at CommunityKit.
Would we be able to pull it off?
It went SO WELL and (IMO) ended up being the shining star of the whole experience.
We're doing it again this year and signups are live now if you want to show off your apps!
The enamel pin for @alpenglowapp@indieapps.space is gorgeous and the packaging has an App Clip on the back of it!
I can’t think of a scenario where I would ever want to ask an Amazon AI shopping assistant this question.
During WWDC I got some great design feedback that What's My Set wasn't using the available space well in landscape mode.
Addressing that now!
TIL that your Apple Watch won't unlock your Mac if a sleep focus is active.
RE: @joethephish@mastodon.gamedev.place
This is the kind of app that inspires me: fun, beautiful, useful. It’s so good.
I assumed that I would easily find a bug with time zones but Joseph outsmarted me and pretends that they don’t exist. He really did get something out of being in the audience for my time zone talk at Swift Leeds.
When I was driving today CarPlay would not let me use the Apple Music app until I stopped moving and looked at something on my iPhone.
It was the “what’s new” sheet for iOS 26.4. 😐
@ay8s@mastodon.social your pin looks so good! FYI, in the on boarding the text gets cut off if you have the text size bumped up a little bit (not an accessibility size).

Time’s up procrastinators!
Last chance to get your submissions in.
Congratulations to the winners. I was part of the bronze medal team.
You've still got to be so careful when dealing with IAP in your app.
My app's latest build passed review and is in a "pending developer release" state.
It would be so easy to hit that release button but upon closer inspection the IAP is still "in review".
I realized that there's a VoiceOver issue with SwiftUI Text(timerInterval:).
If it's more than 1 hour away VO will say "hours", "minutes", and "seconds". For example, “3 hours, 2 minutes, 12 seconds”.
But if it’s less than 1 hour left it won’t say any of them! For example, “2 12”. That could easily be confused for a time instead of time remaining.

@peterfriese@iosdev.space @MattHeaney23@mastodon.social did we just turn Peter Friese into a Slurpee fan? 🤯
@everyplace@mastodon.social glad you stopped me at deep dish!
