Huge thanks to @daveverwer@mastodon.social for posting about Guild Ads on @iosdevweekly@iosdev.space today! Thanks for the kind words, Dave!
The first week of ads will go out tomorrow afternoon and we've got a solid roster of advertisers already!

^ That's my blog post going a little more into the "why". If you want to jump to the "what"...

@viticci@mastodon.macstories.net @johnvoorhees@mastodon.macstories.net The CLI + companion skill approach Spark is using is quickly becoming my favorite. Sure, using a UI is great, but also programmatically asking an English-speaking LLM to do the same thing is super useful.
(This led me to make the same thing for my @GuildAds@mastodon.social platform: https://mastodon.social/@GuildAds/116530722881904149)

@Timschmitz Please do! Let me know how it goes! It’s kind of an interesting thing to start up, as it needs both sides of the house to work, but fortunately a lot of us are in both the “I’d like more users” and the “I could use ads in my free version” buckets.

@Timschmitz Yeah! Stats on the home screen are live. Currently showing to 29,078 users in the past 7 days, but that will increase of course as more publisher apps join. It should show you estimated users when you set a percentage of the market to purchase too.
@Timschmitz@mastodon.social Would you look at that! (Truncation fix coming soon!)
New account just dropped. @GuildAds@mastodon.social
