I do design systems / accessibility / iOS / engineering management / eng levels & hiring stuff. Used to work at Square, now taking a break. Design is how it works.
Calculating the matrices myself to save money on tokens, as a bit
I'm preparing to sell my place to downsize; good god the sheer amount of completely useless shit that I have accumulated over the last ~8 years or so is crazy – but you don't really notice if you have space for it. Thanks I hate it
In unemployment I’m overbuilding the fuck out of an app I made to track where I spend my time (aka an excuse to build every tool I've ever wanted); decided to take Codex for a spin again and am impressed!
Asked it to
(a) (easy) change my dev menu into a floating glass item overlay and
(b) (hard) build a storyboard-style live UI exploration tool that lets you see all screens in an app (been thinking about forever but never got the time to make).
Impresssed; it nearly one shotted both of them!
god this is such a perfect parody. kyle gordon is the millennial weird al, but for genres
(I have listened to this song 2000 times in the last week)
These people are fucking depraved freaks. What the fuck is wrong with them https://bsky.app/profile/atrupar.com/post/3mrstojson42n
This is great, have manually written this sort of thing a ton of times; nice to avoid that now!

Long Island Rail Road? More like the Null Island Rail Road
Have to say, I still really prefer using cursor w/ claude models over claude itself. Its planning tools feel so much better, and overall it seems a lot faster to run. Not really sure why, but I feel like I'm flying in cursor compared to claude.
It annoys me to no end that hitting Cmd+N in the Claude app does not open a new window! Let me open multiple Claude windows!! I hate using the terminal!!!
[RFC: Looking for input from anyone who lives in a medium-to-large sized condo building in SF]
I'm looking to downsize my place in SF; want to move to a condo since I'm now splitting my time between here and NYC.
Does anyone _really love_ the building they're in that fits this? It feels like all the large buildings are downtown, which is ok, but meh. I'd love to find some full-service buildings elsewhere, but they seem very few and far between.
Ugh, Xcode b3 had fixed a weird testing + bundle lookup issue, and b4 seems to have broken it again ☠️
