Got my workout in while it was still relatively cool in my office. Still a few more hours before we hit peak outside, but I'm going to hold off on the AC until it gets too hot to write without it.
(Yes, my office/workshop/workout space is all one room. We also game in here.)

Saw my first honeybees of the year today. Big fat ones, trying to fit inside our tiny grape hyacinth blossoms.
Just because she's a bank/AH alt doesn't mean she can't be cute.
Every wasp (and the one honeybee) I have seen this year has been an enormous, fat one. Can only think it must be a consequence of the ridiculously warm winter we had here.

@intrepidhero@vmst.io I once attended a sermon with a rich white guy and came out of it with a completely different interpretation of it than he did. Not just a difference of opinion, but he thought he had heard the complete opposite of what I had. Some people hear what they want to hear and nothing else.
Guild finished out the normal raids tonight, downing the last 4 bosses we hadn't cleared yet. Doing reclears next week, then we'll probably dip our toes into Heroic eventually. No super big push for it this xpac; we are focused on getting our more casual players geared through other means first.
New gaming mouse is supposed to arrive tomorrow. If it's early enough, I have some weeklies I've been putting off for the sake of my elbow. We'll see.
Don't have the concentration to work on my novel for long at a time today, and don't have the patience to do all my weekly stuff on WoW for all my crafting alts.
...But if I swap back and forth between the two tasks, it seems to work pretty well. 😁
I think I've finally tangled out the end of this chapter. It's the penultimate one for the flashback arc, so it has to be really tight.
Someone just described the flavor of fortune cookies as "Like someone took a perfectly good sugar cookie and ironed it," and I'm laughing because it's true. 😆
Trying to hold off turning on the AC for just one more day. (Yes I turned it on for that one day in March, but it has been off since then.) Thankfully the sun just dipped below the hills and it's cooling off already.
Always fun waking up to find out one of your fellow mods was hacked while you were sleeping. Fortunately our mod team covers every time zone, so things were mostly fixed by the time I got up.
Anyway, don't fall for this:

@vintagestory@mastodon.gamedev.place As other users have suggested, I think the right-hand one is a bit busy to be used at a smaller scale. The values (light vs. dark) are too similar, and I think if this were addressed then it might read better.

Watching Gundam Seed for the first time in forever. (Also first time with proper subtitles, because my DVDs turned out to be Chinese bootlegs.)
The first quarter is always slow, but once I get to the part where Cagalli returns, I start to remember why no anime I've seen in the last two decades has even come close to replacing this in my top slot.
Also seeing so many nods to it in my current writing project that I didn't realize were there.

All caught up on the WoW story for now. Didn't get to fight Belo'ren because the first raid finder I tried was already past it, and the second time I was in the middle of a long cut scene when the queue popped, and it timed out. 🤦♀️ Hopefully my guild will get to it Friday.
My dad is the one who taught me how to edit the high scores in Minesweeper, but somehow he cannot figure out Discord.
I have an M+ score for the first time in 2 years. Managed to time all of the ones we did tonight, too, a couple just under the wire. #WorldOfWarcraft

@veronica Never hesitate to rewrite from another perspective if you're stuck. You might not even keep the new draft, but 100% of the time when I do that, I learn something that I needed to know about my characters.
Today was NOT a great day for someone to feed me something they INSISTED was safe for me to eat.
(It's never a great day for that, but I was sort of hoping I could get some work done this morning before Midnight early access.)

@belghast I was surprised that mine didn't add up to a full year. Apparently I played for more than a quarter of 2020, but I must have toned it down a lot since then.
@SecondStix The closest I come to watching it (ever, really) is watching the social media reactions from people who actually bothered. It's usually a fairly thorough tl;dw.
I finally designated an AH alt that isn't my main. I just have too much decor I'm crafting; once I add the Midnight stuff, I won't have any bag space at all otherwise. 😅

@Krikket@mindly.social The only thing I can do regularly and enjoy is aerobic dance. A stationary bike would be nice too, though it will never compare with the enjoyment of riding a real one. (Which I can't do anymore because of my thermal stability issues.)
Really liking the story in Midnight so far. It's everything War Within wasn't, for me.
