He was an early researcher and although not initially accepted by aids activists, he did indeed turn that around and gave the activists a seat at the table to help researchers and find treatment. During the Covid pandemic I followed his advice because I knew he cared about people not politics. So the gop can kindly fuck all the way off

I told them I would feel horrid if something should happen and I could have stopped it, so stick this in the drivers side door. The others are in my family’s cars. Cause ya never know, a child or a dog stuck in a hot car or a terrified Tesla owner…

When one asks a question or advice here they get real answers, from truly kind people wanting to assist you. This has become a novelty on other platforms. Here on the Fediverse it is the norm, not the exception. Plus there are some really smart, funny and compassionate people here. It’s fun, we all need fun.

Two 20,000 pound vehicles ( there is always a decoy beast in the motorcade), assorted secret service vehicles weighing in at about 12,000 pounds each, driving over a freshly painted surface placed over a liner built on top of timber piles, doesn’t seem like a great way to insure the integrity of the pool. But what do I know?
