I am still on Facebook (I know, I know) but I am a member of a couple of lefty groups, and before you can join you have to answer questions and your answers have to be approved by admins.
Questions like, "Trans rights are..."
or "How would you describe your political leanings?"
And yet STILL a bunch of liberal assholes get in

I get mental health treatment through a place called the SIMS Foundation in Austin, and their only requirement is that I prove I have made *some* money with music each year.
So I am once again asking people to buy some of my eccentric and odd experimental music. It's not "harsh noise" or "dark ambient." It's very unique and fun to listen to. If you can't buy some music at least boost. I have until the end of the month to prove I've sold some music:

The other day at the dog park I just had to stop talking and walk away because trying to convince some people that life *actually doesn't* have to suck is a fool's errand.
That people believe if you do not work then you do not deserve to eat or have a roof over your head - to live, basically, is *evil.* There's no other word for it.
Because freed from the bondage of rent and wage slavery, I believe people would be MORE productive, only in ways that MATTER

For a short time I was on a Texas trans/enby Discord server and you had to get an invite from someone to join.
But after Oct 7th there was a schism where all-out war broke out between Zionist trans folks and anti-genocide Trans folks and the admins finally had to make a rule that trans rights are human rights which means ALL humans, and therefore trans rights are Palestinian rights.
So the Brianna Wu-type trans folks of the group all got the boot

Like, I really wish I could get into or listen to hip-hop because I know a lot of it is done by leftwing revolutionaries with great lyrics
But I spent a few months being SAd in Orleans Parrish Prison - one of the worst jails in America. It's 95% black and the background soundtrack to me being gang-SAd was rap. It was either sports or rap. 24/7.
So now hearing rap or sportsball fans whooping and hollering triggers a trauma response in me.
It sucks. I hear rap and I'm being raped again 😥
13 years in the making, through ups and downs and bad times and good, SOTA released what we consider to be one of the most unique rock and roll albums ever released. Both gen-X leftys, we took metal, punk, goth, industrial, and classical music and threw it all in a blender to create an album that sounds like no other. I have yet to hear someone be able to say, "SOTA sounds like (insert a particular band)"
