#today the spouse and I changed our party affiliation to unaffiliated.
In Maine we can vote for whichever party we choose as unaffiliated.
We are die hard liberals but are concerned about the current administration’s continuing battle to have states hand over voting lists.
Color me paranoid.

The question is how to raise a boy to not be ‘that man’ in a world where everything around them tells them they are entitled to be in charge of us. Where women in positions of power are unqualified DEI hires or slept their way to the top. Where we are rated like cuts of meat. Add in the prevalence of violence as the go to solution for men who aren’t getting what they want from us and it’s terrifying.

Way way back in the day when you would get the cocktail shot for sciatic pain that Valium was everything and it hit instantly. My doctor would give me this weird mix of Flexeril, Valium and a steroid at the muscle site and the first time I was like where has this been all my stoned and stupid life and immediately my brain went to this is bad. This is bad. This is bad. We are never doing this again unless we’re in so much pain that we can’t walk or sit.

Because I have always been of the opinion that intellectual curiosity is an indication of sentience.

Been dealing with that sort of razor in the apple slice garbage for 68 years.
