mastodon 4.7.3Also bramblebeargrrrauling and bramblebearwhuffling but locked out of those until find spoons to sort out. Solarpunk the polycrisis, resist! Permaculture, neurospicy, more at some point.
Resistance puts the punk in solarpunk.
Someone tooted where is the punk in solarpunk; been thinking about answers.
Answers are many, huge, small, solo, small group, large group, now, in the works, and waiting for us to take action.
However we disrupt any of the harms the megamachine causes, however we stop feeding capitalism with our money, labor, collective resources, helps stop harms, makes room for building, growing, making a solarpunk now into the future.
Manual or non-electric washing machines. Reviews, affiliate links.
Anyone tried any of these, or another that you like? Thinking of upgrading my hand wash in a basin or pot.
From Degrowth.info blog-
"For degrowth movements worldwide, Rojava is not an abstract inspiration: it is a “how to” reference and should be considered as such in any strategy debate."
Dreaming of solarpunk outdoor shower, laundry station/"room"~ imagine planting a mini tree guild or Miyawaki tree planting, in a raised bed, built with downed trees and branches; evergreens edge the space for privacy, a solar powered hot water shower that drains right into the raised mulch bed in center. Nearby or in another such bed, outdoor laundry station for handwash or old timey non electric laundry wash set-up. Paradise daily.
In greenhouse for winter???
"Degrowth is defined as the intentional downscaling of global resource consumption for the purpose of achieving ecological sustainability and social justice. In doing so, degrowth challenges the idea of economic growth itself."
