None of those 3 things are offensive, whether or not they're true.
The challenge is that offense is a personal thing, even situational. We can't say that someone else should/shouldn't be offended.
The best we can do is guess if a 'reasonable person' would be offended.
And you would agree that if the word white was swapped for any other race, what she said would be offensive?

She's allocating "power over all of us" to "the rich white men".
There's certainly some truth in there - the rich do have more power, but it's hardly total. Moreover, "the rich" are not exclusively white, not exclusive male, not exclusively hetrosexual. There plenty of poor, powerless whites, plenty of rich powerful Asians.

In mathematical logic, A=>B + C=>B does not mean A=>C nor C=>A.
But in conversational logic, the unsaid is also part of the conversation.
To introduce into a conversation "A=>B ; C=>B" is to imply the existence of relevant connection between A and C, which you invite the reader to discover.

The point of thinking about the impact of swapping the races is to demonstrate that it isn't a neutral substitution.
The debate here is about whether or to what extent, it should be considered offensive or acceptable or some combination of both, to say things about whites that would be both offensive and unacceptable to say about other races.
There seem to be three options:
- completely
- somewhat (my view)
- not at all.

Further, in democracies, the power of the rich is, partially, counterbalanced by the power of the state, and other institutions.
And in most of the world, most politicians (and indeed, most of the rich) are of the same race as the locals.
