👁Notas DesCat Este juego es más una curiosidad de internet que pocos conocen. worlds.com nació en abril de 1995; era básicamente un juego revolucionario para su tiempo, cuando el multijugador y el 3D estaban en pañales. ¿Por qué fue abandonado? Por ser muy adelantado a su época: la mayoría de los PC hogareños no lo soportaban y el Wi-Fi era muy limitado. Por eso, su comunidad se fue haciendo más pequeña, llegando al olvido, hasta que un usuario anónimo de 4chan abrió un hilo en el tablón /x/, que volvió a poner el juego a vista de todos. Sin embargo, las creepypastas sobre cultos o sectas captaron más la atención de los usuarios, donde muchos aseguraban que eran ciertas, pero todo resultó en confusión por la extraña existencia de un jugador llamado Nexialist y ciertos actos planeados de usuarios, como crear mundos bizarros o decir que hay hackers que pueden acceder a la PC del usuario apenas ingresan al juego. Todo esto fue para incentivar la creación de teorías. ¿Por qué mantener los servidores activos hasta su caída el 6 de agosto de 2024? Todo se debe a las patentes, como las de multijugador, con las que la empresa Worlds Inc. sacó provecho mientras los servidores permanecieran activos. I check Pragmata plot on Wikipedia and I have to say: I am utterly disappointed. Pragmata is a game about evil AI as the main antagonist, and we are living in a time (including the release time of the game) of political tension, social unrest, with AI having a part in escalating tensions in almost everywhere. Pragmata plot does not even hint to anything. There is no mention of how AI grow evil within certain conditions we see nowadays. On top of that, it is painfully ignorant to the political/societal issues regarding AI, especially the game itself surrounds the idea of an evil AI. #pragmata #videogame

I can't be the only one...

1. Buy a #VideoGame when it's on sale as a bundle with most of the #DLC - maybe 3+ years ago.

2. Install/Play the game until it's (mostly) finished.

3. Notice while scrolling through a recent #sale that its last un-owned DLC's are selling at massive discounts and buy/install them all.

4. Open the game and realize that you have no clue how it works, spending the next few hours killing yourself and copious numbers of NPC when you forget what buttons/loot do what.
