Active in the irssi community, perl developer, IT consultant geared towards ERP systems Huge MTH fan :) (and yes, it's me in the picture, circa 1980 :) )

#fediverse
@psfshr@mastodon.me.uk so that's why we had a glitch in the matrix. Ran some code that didn't work last week, the same code worked today, so I guess universe will reset itself eventually and the code stops working again :P
I understand #security is important and all, but getting logged out from #Teams and email frequently because MS thinks the auth cookie needs to be renewed is mighty irritating to say the least. To say more, I swear loudly every time I have to login again. Just fucking let me be.
@timjan@social.linux.pizza moved one of my pihole servers to a new vm host yesterday and something in that broke something. No idea what. Updated both pihole installations and rebooted them and now everything works again 🤷
@timjan@social.linux.pizza seems to be a global problem. My nginx-proxy-manager has kicked the bucket somehow, getting 502 Bad gateway for my hosted sites :P
@niqdanger@social.linux.pizza a lot of that going around :) I saw a news headline today that said: Two cars in crash. One taken to hospital.
I hope they have WD40 in stock!
#fedidev#fediverse it would be nice if #boost s could be moved to a list. Right now I've configured my client to hide boosts to keep my home feed clean but it might be interesting to be able to scroll through the boosts to see if something is interesting
@ironicbadger@techhub.social names become obsolete with time and there is unavoidably a transition period where there might be some confusion, but that's solved with education. Sure, add-ons was a fine name but like they explain in the release notes, new users are more familiar with the concept of Apps. I don't care one way or the other
@ironicbadger@techhub.social it's just a mental change for you, personally. Or are you the author of hundreds of those 'how-to' guides and it would mean extra work for you to update the tutorials?
