Controversial opinion:
The point at which a video game should be remade/remastered is when the original user experience finally makes the game inaccessible to modern players.
Every 3D Zelda game before BotW has terrible UX and it's fine to redo them with modern controls and inventory management.
Also: we don't need a Skyrim remaster, but man I can't wait for one of the fifteen Morrowind remake projects to finish because it was one of my favorite games and it's completely unplayable in 2026.

Another thing from the video:
Building 100 market-rate homes frees up 70 less expensive units - including 40 affordable units - because wealthy people move from older to newer units.
In other words, you could subsidize 40 below-market rate units built at a loss (construction costs are high in expensive areas), or you could allow a private developer to build 100 luxury units at a profit and get 40 affordable units basically for free, allowing you to spend the money on public housing instead.

And in that case, people will still move into desirable areas and displace the people there by driving up rents; there will just be less housing available overall.
What you need are laws that force people redeveloping affordable housing to find new housing for those affected.
So you're saying that despite the draconian restrictions placed on recipients, this program still succeeded in getting 60% of people off the streets?

Performing my first major revision of my current work-in-progress game based on playtest feedback and I get to throw out an awkward system and lean into the game's most unique mechanic so I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

YouTube just showed me this, and, it's amazing what hasn't changed in makeup technique in 40 years and what has. (Products have changed a lot, of course.)
It's like 80% the same but there's zero contouring. Drag culture wouldn't penetrate the mainstream for years still.

With the new expansion coming and an alleged re-work of existing jobs on the horizon (after the extremely successful start to the rework of combat encounters in Dawntrail that produced some of the best fights in the history of the game) I'm expecting big changes in 8.0, in addition to 1-2 completely new jobs.

@amydiehl when you dig into the brackets that they used, though, the numbers are kind of absurd; families living in big, expensive cities need to be "upper middle class" in order to live comfortably.
(Also according to this I am "rich" which, while I am definitely upper middle class, I am absolutely not.)

When you took the class, and you had an exam, did you (a) memorize all of the formulas ahead of time, or (b) derive everything on a sheet of paper for the first ten minutes and then answer all the questions after?
