I honestly think *one* of the dumb things (of many) the Dutch government did was ban nicotine pouches before they could even be established.
It would have been an easy win to help people quit cigarettes, and would have still given a tax income stream. Instead they hiked up the price and moved them to specialist stores and wonder why people cross the borders to Belgium or Germany, or buy illegally 🤷

We need to go back!" - that is the only way forward with agent web is to go back - good, well written and structured HTML + Text, accessibility + progressive enhancement, even WAP - these are more appropriate than React-heavy, JavaScript only. This can also help reduce bandwidth.

True story: many years ago working at an agency, one customer was Littlewoods Pools and they had a MySpace page. We managed to persuade MySpace to allow us to point to a JS file we hosted on our server, which then hijacked the page and completely replaced it - to then have an Adobe Air installer on it
Still amazed we got away with it 😅
Quite happy with my terrain engine performance now - but honestly still not sure WebGPU over WebGL was worth it - still has it's issues

In two minds about this. Myself I have an entirely local Ollama -> Trellis2 -> Blender MCP pipeline that I'm working on that works on my M3 - still some challenging parts, but the end to end works fine - because I'm not an artist and I need rough one-shot elements.
AI + Blender, done as part of someone's own pipeline can have it's benefits too 🤷🏼♀️
