Looking to put together a kit so I can start doing live-sound for a local dance (normally two or three musicians and one vocalist, occasional larger bands that it would be good to be equipped to do, but isn't strictly necessary up front), they pay $100 for each 2 hour session so I can do partial grocery money if I start doing it once a month or so after I pay off equipment investment.
Who has recommendations for off-brand DI boxes or inline pre's that are actually good (personal experience only please, I've already looked to see what the rest of the internet says)? The obvious choices are the Radial Engineering ProDI or the FetHead/Cloudlifter/McBoost but those are way outside my price range new or used, so I'm hoping I can find something that's 90% as good for half the price (or a really good deal used maybe?). I'll be trying to find used stuff, but I'm using new pricing to compare.
Alternative suggestions for other gear welcome too: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/find/wishlist.jsp/#/24599035/

I my continued quest to get stickers into loving homes and redistribute my sticker surplus, I'm going to post some individual ones:
Who wants it?
EDIT: this one is taken!
Okay, spammed* as many audio related forums and mailing lists as I could think of where I actually use their stuff or where there might be general interest about my musical stems file format for DJing and tracks meant for re-mixing. It's such a niche thing that I have received very little feedback so far, but if you can think of anyplace that might be open to providing feedback (ie. DJ applications like Mixxx or DAWs like Ardour who might want to implement the format in the future), let me know so I can ask if they're willing!

@tenacity Hi Tenacity folks! I've been working on a somewhat niche audio format and I'm looking for feedback from the sorts of projects that might implement it in the future and other audio community folks.
The format is a single file that can contain the final mix of some music alongside individual instrument stems for use when DJing or doing mixing in a DAW. When a producer is making the DJ version of a track or a version meant for another artist to remix they would export using this format, then the other artist could import it into their DAW or DJ software which would recognize the file as containing stems and setup the project appropriately.
I'm curious if this is something that Tenacity would be interested in supporting (either for export or import) eventually, and if so what requirements you would have for such a format?
The existing draft can be found here, and I'd love your feedback. It's hard to find reviewers for such a niche audio format!
