@rgarner@mastodon.social Awww

@ASprinkleofSage@mastodon.social @Nickiquote@mstdn.social @TheBreadmonkey@beige.party I'd take Ralf Wiggum.

@TheBreadmonkey@beige.party I don't know who king Ralf is but I'm taking this as he's to be avoided at all costs and he'd sell his gran to Palentir just for a free lunch.

@vfrmedia@social.tchncs.de itvwouldnt surprise me... And its also the sort of things I'd not be surprised other parties do, having seen close up some of the shenanigans in the labour party. The common good is nearly always at the expense of some twat's personal ambitions.

@TheBreadmonkey@beige.party what if I boost you AND love Saddam Hussain?

@celesteh applies to so many things... "We're some principled type motherfuckers, follow us on Insta, YouTube, LinkedInPark and Satan".

@lydiaconwell well almost...

@thomasfuchs@hachyderm.io It's almost as if the tech companies have vast pools of cash they use to ensure favourable legislatiion to protect their walled gardens and in return they provide a surveillance system for the state.

@Whiskeyomega@cupoftea.social lol

The enshitification of football.

@django@social.coop seems pretty ironic this looks like its made by AI...

Craig Davis! #TOTP

@TheVinylApe@cupoftea.social Yeah that record looks great. I'd worry about anyone that wouldn't be curious.

More reverb on the reverb please. #totp

Alice DJ, when you could have a below average voice, be a bit out of tune and not have otter-tune #TOTP

@rgarner@mastodon.social Adam Ant?

@Remittancegirl oofff that's horrible. I wonder if it's because he's a fiddler and kiddie fiddler is common slang (at least in the UK).

Banger #totp

CAN on the deck. Lets start the week right lest we start it wrong. The Kalimera Show 07:00UTC - Music and chat on the free and open internet. #Music #LiveStream #Chat

Jimmy Hill funk! #totp

@ee@mastodon.nl oops, should read it's. Damn autocorrect.

@JeniParsons@mstdn.social Anyone expecting any kind of directional change with a new 'ave a cuppa style will be sorely disappointed. Fuck the lot of 'em.

@Brit_In_Moldova@toot.community Turned out... well it turned out I suppose.

Not focussing on selling my own music this Friday but instead I'll hail up some Bandcamp alternatives instead. https://mirlo.space https://jam.coop/ https://bandwagon.fm/ https://www.subvert.fm/ And for DIY  enthusiasts there's https://faircamp.org/ and RSS using podcasting 2.0 And my favourite option, your local record shop. But if all this sounds long, please take this one key bit of info... Fuck Daniel Elk, he's not a real elk. #BandcampFriday #IndependentMusic

@stux@mstdn.social @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu I think they're fully aware it's mass surveillance, it's literally the point.

Is that a CS80!? #TOTP

Beeb censoring "cowson". Cunts. #totp

Stop this as well #totp

@matdevdug@c.im Kind of a shame that a lot of things online rely on the advertising model and not a more direct relationship with an audience. Buying a mattress is great if you need a mattress and you're now getting a better nights sleep but that's a relationship with the mattress manufacturer. Entertainment funded this way is pretty compromised, the real business of the podcast is just selling shit.

Artwork needed... Howdy folks, I'm looking for some artwork to promote my indie-web music programme The Kalimera Show in my local community with stickers and fliers to put in local record shows/give hand to hand etc. I'd love to get some Outside The Computer people interested and even better if they're folks unaware that a real internet exists outside of Facebacon, LinkedInPark and eX etc. The main things I want to include is my cat George, who is big feature of the daily weather report (also my parent domain is https://inpc.cat) and some basic text that communicates as snappily as possible. It's 100% Indie Web broadcast from my shed, a home-spun affair of me (a sound engineer by trade) playing vinyl records and that rejects mainstream walled garden of shiternet. Obviously needs to be a bit savvy text wise as to not over complicate things and work for both sticker and A6 formats. What I definitely don't want is AI art, aesthetically I think it's shit and doesn't suit the vibe of what I'm doing here. Listening to the show is probably the best way to get a feel of it, I play a wide range of music from Jazz to Funk to Prog to Hip hop to Dub to TechnoHonk etc. @thekalimerashow@pirate.mxtthxw.art I have a small budget of £100 and this isn't a full on commercial operation, just so that's clear from the start but still want to respect peoples' time best I can. If you're interested drop me a DM. Cheers! :) #AskFedi #FediArt #IndieWeb

@jerry@infosec.exchange I've taken mine down as the upgrade process breaks things with Yunohost. The info to fix appears to exist but is a little beyond my skill. level tbh.

What's the thing with small diaphragm condensers on vocals without a pop shield. Those fuckers will be popping like mad  #totp

@TJ1001@mastodonapp.uk to be fair, I think he's every interest in being PM. Guy has a massive ego.

Next week I'm going on The Fireside Fedi to chat about music, The Kalimera Show and The Feline Of Fahrenheit (Mr George) and having fun on the Indie Web. Next Thursday at... 20:30 UTC 21:30 UK time 05:00 PyongYang 16:30 USA East Coast. https://freestreamers.btfree.org/event/the-feline-of-fahrenheit-morning-dub-vinyl-treasure-and-self-hosted-radio-inpc-e95 #FiresideFedi #IndieWeb #SelfHosting
