I use #JetBrains ( #PHPStorm 's) shelves quite a lot. They're generally pretty nice at letting me compartmentalise the things I'm working on if I need to be doing a bunch.
But I don't know why I do it cause they keep biting me in the arse.
Whats that? Patch failure? Rollback? There, you've lost everything and now need to spelunk your archives or Time Machine and hope you don't miss some obscure file you made a 3 line change in that will break your env otherwise.
Last day of holiday in Munich and its been great. Particularly enjoying the live Bavarian band in the Hofbräuhaus.
Holy Moly these are good. They contain not a lick of chocolate but you'd absolutely think otherwise.
Sometimes you come across a #PlantBased or #Vegan product that hits the spot left vacant by something you used to enjoy.

Managed to finish off my migration to #CachyOS today. Part of that is a (sadly necessary) reinstall of #Windows into a much smaller home.
Holy fucking shit is that process a nested nightmare of #DarkPatterns. "Do you want to enable this?", "Do you want to disable this?", "Do you want this? (tiny skip link)" - multiple times each and in various combinations or orders.
That's on top of the hassle just getting a working USB bootable drive to even work. (Shout-out to #WinpodX)

@bezekium@nrw.social yep, pocketbook have a store but this also natively supports ACSM files which most other online stores and libraries supply.
You push those to the device and it pulls the book and works with the DRM. The library integration is great as it overlays the book image with the number of days left on your loan.
You could also run those same ACSM files though appropriate Calibre plugins and not deal with the DRM at all but I'll only be doing that with books I pay money for.
Finished up Matt Dinniman's Operation Bounce House last night and am unsure how to feel about it.
I would have thoroughly enjoyed it but narratively it has a fair amount of overlap with current affairs and I found it really quite stressful at times, in the same way I find watching the news stressful.

I then binged the next 6 end to end. They're such entertaining books and they just keep getting better.
I'm now giving the audio books a go since I've heard good things about the narration/production and so far I'm not disappointed.
Book 8 soon!
