Opinions are my own 💡
Profile picture: A man with blue hair and glasses faces away from the camera, he's wearing a denim vest with band patches on it, the UV lighting of the area he's in is making the white in the patches glow.
I saw a comment about how "people who hate AI have a narrow and closed off perspective"
What could be more narrow than focusing solely on the slop produced while ignoring the moral, ethical, copyright, environmental, psychological, economic, security, authoritarian, bias, supply chain and lack-of-humanity problems?
I'm currently trying vertical tabs in my various browsers and it's really throwing me off and I feel so lost and confused 🤣
Them: "[something something] Samantha is a real weirdo"
Me: "Samantha is the name of the decapitated head of a sex doll that's possessed by a minor deity in a book I'm reading about a guy and his ex-girlfriends cat"
Them: "What the fuck kind of smut is are you reading?!"
Me: "they're in a dungeon and the AI running it has a foot fetish"
Them: "What. The. Actual. Fuck"
:D
Ahh damn. Seems my PocketBook Era Color eraser has broken. That's shite.
Bought tickets to see Dayseeker in December
This might be the band I'm most excited to see this year, Rory's vocals are SO GOOD
Sat in a park reading and so far 2 people have complimented my hair :)
Sunday night and I don't have to wake up for work tomorrow.
That's nice.
Better make the most of it because a week tomorrow I start the new job!
Practicing something I saw from @evacide@hachyderm.io about just letting people be wrong on the internet is a real test of patience, heh.
Am I disappointed by some things I've seen on here in the circles I follow over the past couple of days? Yes.
Am I surprised? No.
I hadn't seen it online so I just made a stupid edit of something and it's made me happy
Editing photos from a shoot earlier this week and it still amazes me how much better my Mac Mini M4 (non-pro 24GB RAM model) handles it than my 5800X, 64GB RAM, 3080Ti system does while also consuming like 10% of the power
Things I didn't know I needed in my life: a mosh pit in a space centre to a live band playing a BANGING COVER of Break Stuff by Limp Bizkit
