She had to have her people make phone calls and say "no, seriously, McKenzie Scott wants to give your inner-city-youth STEM project a million dollars!".

@blogdiva They won't save ALL the money they were paying to Microsoft. Someone will still need to program and maintain the systems and servers etc. But those people will mostly be French people. The money won't be going to America.

@Viss I was at one of these where the presenter a) did not know how many slides there were b) did not know how long his talk would take c) frequently spoke about something, then moved to the next slide to find that thing was on the next slide and was surprised

Yesterday I achieved three good things: • got a problem with my car fixed • went to a government office and got a $58 refund I was owed • moved a bunch of cables at the back of my computer around to a much better arrangement All small things but #ThreeGoodThings all the same.
