I'm 6'2" and am comfortable in one of these. In Italy (and probably elsewhere in the EC) it's a car you can drive before age 18. Top speed is 45 MPH, I think.

@TidalFlats@mastodon.coffee Apropos of Woody & Bari, I was thinking of the wonderful Hal Ashby movie about him, "Bound for Glory," which I can't recommend enough, and also can't find on any streaming service. The same is true of Ashby's flick about consequences of the Vietnam War, "Coming Home." Or for that matter, John Sayles' "Matewan," about a West Virginia coal mine strike.
It's almost as if the Lords of Streaming don't want us to have any entertainment with cultural messages that don't stroke their egos.

That Topolino is a re-badged Citroën Ami, and has many econo features, such as identical front and rear fascias, driver and passenger doors. Like the 2CV, the seats are lawn chairs. The external "paint" is really just the color of the molded plastic.
There was an old Fiat 500-cc Topolino, of which almost half a million were made, 1936-55.

@emily_rugburn@lgbtqia.space A documentary about Seymour Hersh, who (among other epic scoops) uncovered the My Lai massacre in the Vietnam War. What's great about it is the way Poitras gives you so many interesting ways to see a story that's essentially an old guy spinning yarns.
Laura Poitras has a documentary about Seymour Hersh on Netflix called "Cover-Up." I can't recommend it enough.
