I was looking at cute puppers to help me forget the pain of computers.
It's always a bit shocking to me how tight Curtis Mayfield's tracks are.
I was listening to this while riding around today and I was floored how good the horn arrangement and percussion was. It's tight from top to bottom. The horns are especially interesting to me because they have one foot in the old big band style but they also really swing too.. It's a tightrope walk but they pull it off.

The dangerous thing about this dude is that he knows not to say anything about it on main.

I've used his Ansible modules before and have recently been seeing his videos pop up online a lot more.
He does a lot of hardware testing and lab projects on youtube and he's often working with RISC boards and small radio projects.
He's burrowed his way into several niche communities.

Yes it's funny, IIRC they did a few big rounds of firings around the time things went pear shaped. My friend got caught up in that mess..

@c3manu @marginalia that appears to be the version without our anime jackalgirl friend.
I suppose though you could pay for the branded version and then pay Celphase for the updated art.

To extend this a bit I'm also wondering how we create a system to allow people to create websites and internet services without having to resort to wix or some sort of SaaS vendor. I know more than a few moderately technical folks who have grasped enough of docker to run a few small services at home on their NAS.
Is it ideal? No.
Is it better than them paying for a service either with money or shitty, intrusive ads?
Yes, by far.

I get the distrust of flatpack and their motivations, but I also wonder how to make a system built on free and open software accessible to the average user who just wants to visit their websites, play their movies, pay their bills, make art, do some gaming, without the answer being "open a terminal and type configure"
Look at this person discovering a path forward! I'm so happy for him!

Since folks are reposting this, they may also want to look at the Dutch American Friendship Treaty (DAFT) visa. It's a 2 year renewable visa for starting a Netherlands based business. The business could be anything from tech consultancy, to selling art, or pet grooming.

I've been wondering how I can make my own start page. I like the links to my own top sites and the weather, but beyond that the existing one gotta go.
Adding a list of random Wikipedia pages to that is a solid choice.
