@sodiboo I have to say, this is quite nonsensical. You think you get to goof around with your restricted view of the compositor's resources because you control it? You only get to bind yourself to my globals because I let you. You want even the right to create a window for yourself? You only get that privilege if you ask me very nicely. And as you sit there blindly playing around in your little sandbox making your little windows, I get to decide exactly what happens to them, as bound by the contract of our specification. You think I'm actually going to display that buffer you attached to your surface? How silly. I can do whatever I want with it. You think you're in control here? I could destroy all the objects you've made at a moments notice, just to punish you. You think you can disobey my orders and configure your surfaces to be different than recommended? I can unmap every surface you've ever touched and you won't even know if I initiated it or your precious user did.
