computer toucher. In my spare time, I often do things involving writing somewhat object oriented code in C, writing mildly cursed bash one liners, reverse engineering electronics, and/or designing electronics.
human, but describable as cat- and allegedly robot-like.
owner of many devices, including at least 22 (+2 suspected) various embedded devices running linux with accessible root shells. If it has a UART looking connector, I will try using it.
if you're wondering if I have a website, well... there are plans.
I wonder what would happen if the 400x400 version of my profile picture were to be converted to raw rgb24, then played as raw 1ch 16ksps u8 audio

so that phone that I was super sad about having been stolen from me? turns out it's just been sitting in the back seat of the car for two weeks. I feel really stupid now.
oh no! I just looked at the clock and realized I missed 1777777777
yesterday I decided to make an svg of the Canadian flag. the obvious thing to do would be to go find the exact geometrical description of the flag, but it appears there's no exact official geometrical description of the maple leaf. in CAN/CGSB-98.1, 98.2, and 98.3, it is only specified via a diagram or image of the flag. looking at the vector drawing, all elements of the diagram (the border, both the red sections at either side, the centre of the maple leaf, the grid, and the size marks at the edges) are all misaligned from and/or sized differently compared to all the others in some way! I went ahead and extracted the vector drawing of the maple leaf anyways, and it turns out it isn't even symmetrical! (though after mirroring and averaging the coordinates, the corrected maple leaf is barely different when overlaid)
so, is the summary on this LPE that you just, give a program admin rights, and call it an LPE?
finally! not vulnerable to one of the LPEs, I didn't have CONFIG_IO_URING_ZCRX set
bash loadable builtins are so cool, why didn't I make one before
$ echo hi | xxd
00000000: 6869 0a hi.
$ type xxd
xxd is a shell builtin
okay so ignoring the lack of stars, is this not a fully compliant us flag? ignoring the suggestion that is the us flag code, "The flag of the United States shall be thirteen horizontal stripes, alternate red and white; and the union of the flag shall be forty-eight stars, white in a blue field." (with two extra stars for additional states)
