My household/found family is living in the hostile US south on a single disability check that only just covers utilities. We have no food benefits, and my medicine and clinic visits are really expensive.

My cat Machendra just had a dental surgery, and is now going to be taking small amounts of prednisolone daily for 2 months.
I spent basically my last money for now, buying the oral liquid that the vet said would be accepted if I mixed it in a treat. HA! Mac is impossible to administer oral meds to. I just tried for the third time, and I know all the kitty-holding techniques. It's hopeless, he gets violent.
I don't want him to feel stressed and miserable everyday. I called the pharmacy and they said they could make a transdemal gel I could put in his ears instead, for $65.
I don't have that money, I just put everything into helping my housemate prep for her trans bottom surgery (she left for the appointment in Charlottesville today!).
Can anyone help me with this $65 please? He can't skip a dose. It gets delivered right to the house in a couple days. 🙏

I am biracial (Cherokee), visibly disabled, schizophrenic, intersex, queer, gender noncomforming, poor, sickly, living in a house that is literally falling apart, and probably a few more things that society at large frowns upon.
