@jonty@chaos.social same!
It’s so tempting at times, but then I see how software fails in production, and decide that I don’t want any code anywhere near my “critical infrastructure” while that’s still an option

@jon_valdes yes! And when the layoffs hit, you’ll be safe since you’re _obviously_ doing more work, since you burn all those tokens ;)

I wish there was a "subscribe to replies" function here...
Happens a lot, when someone asks smth interesting, and there's no way to follow up later to see if anyone replied

@ZachWeinersmith https://historyofenglishpodcast.com/ talked about it, he’s saying that “yous”, “y’all” are new forms of the list plural form of you that are developing to disambiguate.
Here (in Ireland) “yous” is quite widely used in speech too.

@overholt@glammr.us I'm thinking of making a bot like https://tech.intersects.art/@roadside/116550544665169302 , but for this collection. Need to check the license there...

I'll start using #emoji when they add :trollface:
The new Heroes game (Olden Era) needs some polish, but you can already see that they did an amazing job on gameplay QoL stuff, like buttons to “split in half” and “split evenly into all slots”.
I also do like the smallish but very crowded maps, you don’t need to ride days between mines and other locations.
And they’re releasing patches all of the time too

@NanoRaptor@bitbang.social I thought we agreed it was the platypus. It's clearly designed by someone who had some data on earth life and did his best to blend in, but failed on a few assumptions
